  2. For your grind on your rear rim, get either rock blues or cousts. If your smooth on front rim get heatsink whites, best pads for smooth rim and they can hold a grind aswell.
  3. I have a Gu 06 and basically only ride TGS so its defintely not a weight issue with me either. I just prefer Magura's and vee's altogether.
  4. Don't listen to Pleb he's a natty rider I'm running double Mag at the moment but i've been planning going front vee for a while, reading this makes me want to go vee more, might get a vee at christmas, unless my front mags working well
  5. Alright

  6. Checked them for cracks today with Hunter, also tightened my headset. Didnt find any at all and the forks are only like 3 months old, maybe not even that. The ringing is probably because of the bolts i have, still got the total short Magura bolts and there so close to rounding that i'm scared to tighten them. I'll get new bolts and see if the ringing stops.
  7. Alright, I have Echo Lite forks from '07 and im running a front mag with heatsink whites. My brake is amazing and also really loud although my forks make an annoying ringing sound when i use my front brake. Any suggestions on how to stop it or are echo forks just like that? Cheers, Kieran
  8. Risers I reccommend either the trialtech risers or the old style Zoo! risers.
  9. Probably the nicest Gu 06 i've seen. Bought the frame today can't wait to build it up
  10. Yeah man, i'm really interested. I'll send you an e-mail tonight and then we'll talk then yeah?

    Cheers

  13. Spot on Mcinnes. Been waiting for this for a while although i saw most of it when i was at yours Dont cut your hair...
  14. Definitely get a Tensile. They are really cheap for how good they are, They rarely skip and they have a great sound
  15. Normal shoes are pretty good its what i wear although, no matter if your cranks are silver or black, white shoes always seem to get black stuff off the cranks on them
  16. My mate was running Rock Blues on a smooth rim, they worked pretty well for about a week or two but then went pretty bad so he grinded his rim and now his rock blues are amazing! Definitely worth getting if your going for a grind.
  17. I would recommend getting an onza. Probably an Onza Rip or an Onza Bird or something like that. Maybe you might be able to find a good second hand T-pro.
  18. I would get Echo Urbans. Although if you are looking for something really light then try-all would probably be the best thing.
  19. Onza's are great for first bikes. Getting a T-pro is my recommendation.
  20. I would say Maxxis Creepy Crawlers or a Front Try-All tyre and a rear Monty Eagle Claw.
  21. I would reccomend getting Heatsink whites on the front with a smooth rim and a bit of tar and for the back i would get cousts for a medium/harsh grind.
  22. A few of my friends run onza lime pads on a smooth rim without a booster but with a bit of tar. Both their brakes are amazing and i'm guessing that onza citrus are pretty similar and will work pretty well .
  23. Kmc Kool chains are brilliant. Mine has lasted me ages.
