Pads were sanded not too long ago, its set up decent and it was bled not that long ago and the bleed feels nice and quick. I'm quite scared to clean the rim with white spirit though cause it might take off the little anodizing i have left and its coming up to winter so i think i'll just go grind

Would prefer to stay smooth but my back brake is shit and you know it is I reckon they will work alot better on a grind than they are just now.

Had them on a normal smooth rim for a while and i've had them on the anodised rim for almost a month now, not too long i know but the anodising is really disapointing, only took a few rides for the anodising to wear a fair bit. Now its almost all gone haha. Think i'm going to get a grind now and if that fails then new pads

Alright, Before you's all think this im not actually a weight weenie, i've got a 06 Gu Typhoon. BUT its probably the lightest Gu 06 ever with deng parts and is still strong as. I really like how light the bike is for the spec it has. I was thinking about getting an Echo Urban front rim with a trialtech hub but im a wee bit scared that it will make my front end a fair bit heavier. As i've said i really like how light it is for what it is. Spec is Gu typhoon 06 short Echo lite forks Echo Team Stem 05 Zoo! bars Echo cranks Tensile Undrilled Trialtech race rim with Trialtech hub Standard onza undrilled front rim with onza hub. Will I feel a difference in the weight of the front end with an echo urban front wheel? Cheers guys Kieran
