:- :) :P FFS I am pissed off, I used all my force to remove the freewheel and failed, so got help to remove it and was successful. Transfer the tyre, tube and snail cams to my shiney new wheel, go to put the fixed cog on the crank and the f**ker wont fit!!! It seems I have been sent an 18t fixed cog with a dodgey thread, I am now left with a non working bike! There is no way I am going to get that freewheel back together [i took it appart to the threaded bit, whacked it in a vice and used some mole grips on the b*****d so it is litterally in parts] I am now left with a bike that wont pedal even though I have spent close to £300 on shiney new parts just cos echo didnt machine the thread properly on the cog I happened to get sent :P Have fun guys :P Prawn and bigman, I am gonna have to come and ride with you very soon!!! :P "Tic" -
Can I join this club? Or am I not allowed 'cos I put my surname before my first name and put an underscore in between?!?! Years ago when I got a hotmail account all the emails I tried were taken. I was then given a list of alternatives, this was the best one out of the list list and has since been used for many internet accounts :(

So the xbox doesnt download while your playing a game? I would have thought that when you are in a game you are uploading the information from your xbox while you also receive/download information from the game server..."

There isnt really much point in doing both... If you have any old velcro watch straps lying round use that instead of a zip tie so you dont have to cut off the zip tie everytime you need to take the wheel out... "Tic"

How about sleeping in your car Steven? To be honest not much sleeping happens anyway, I managed 4 hours the Friday night and 5 hours the Saturday night (Compared to most this was loads!). Just going for a day wouldnt be worth it in my opinion, its an un-explainable experience, the music, the people, its just really worth it!!! The things that happen are always really random and unexplainable, its just a right laugh. And we now know where the Tesco's is so we can go and relieve ourselves/stink out non flooded toilets :- I really do think its something you will have to try once Steven, maybe come along the Saturday and just sleep one night and see how it goes this year? It really is an amazing w/e! A looking forward to NASS "Tic" :)

JBL all the way :)

That is exactly how it all starts George, your just trying to convince yourself you dont want to kev your car up. First alloys, then wing mirrors, then you will get some BMW rear lights, then before you know it......... A keved up 306 :P Sound system is all that is required :wink2: If you really have to get alloys just get some standard 306 jobbies so they dont look too out of place...
-
:wink2: :P :- That was some crazy shizzel :P Like I said on MSN, I was impressed just 'cos you were able to keep hold of your bars and actually use the brakes in that weather with no gloves on!

Love it :S Will have to ride with you again somewhen soon Steve! I expect I will see you in Bristol on Saturday :D

Pause the store22 promo vid at approximately 1 second... Someone forgot to clears their history :P" I am not able to screen dump it so you lot are going to have to figure it out for your selves :D Back onto topic, thats was an AMAZING WORK OF ART Jonny! I take back anything that I said about splitting your hour long video into sections, it works very well as seperate sections!!! Its hard to imagine how much time you spent filming and editing that video! Cant say muc more, what Dave Dennis said is spot on! Nice to see a video capturing the fun of trials!!! The video was Edited consistently as with all your video's and there was a nice mixture of music. *Applauds JJ* "Tic"

All those tubes cant actually be doing something, a load of them must just be for show :- I am gonna be starting my 'modding' today, maybe some pics later today. My case is the same as Bonneys :P But mine will look better :P [Hopefully] I desperately need to sort my cooling out! Atm my CPU is at about 54 degrees and the case is at 36 degree's. Will hopefully be sorting out a very nice heatsink and fan this week! My current hs+f make the pc sound like its gonna take off so I need to get a quieter replacement that will also get the CPU temp down! "Tic"

Its not bad at all. Just take the essentials, food, clothes for the w/e, tent and sleeping bag. In the day only leave the minimum in your tent meaning you are not a 'target' to the pikeys and thieves (Seeing as there are 30,000 people camping I am not even gonna try and say everyone safe, there are obviously bad eggs but generally everyone is really cool). 2 years running and I have had no problems... Drugs? All I saw was lots of Canabis and booze, just cos there are other peope round you doing weed and drinking doesnt mean you have to aswell! Its not like anyone is gonna force you to! If you use the search for last years NASS there is a thread full of people saying what to take with you etc... "Tic"

Is the other one a secret then? (Y) Tom needs to sort it out, he is riding the bike show but keeps going out with his BMX making mounds of dirt with a shovel rather than riding trials :-

Wheeler nearly brought a tear to my eye at work when he rang me at 12:40 before the final sentance... I am surpprised and happy about this. I found it hard getting my head round two people getting found guilty for death by dangerous driving but Sam said a couple of things that made it all clear. The main thing I want to know is when does the driving ban start? If it starts straight away there will be 7 years when he is in prison when he cant drive anyway, so when he gets out he will effectively only have a 3 year driving ban. So is it 10 year driving ban from the day he gets out of prison?!?! Dammit I was at work till 7 and didnt know South Today would be covering it (Y) Hopefully it will be on the later one, if its on I might be able to get it ripped to the internet... "Tic"

Line up looks good, but then again the line up is good each year. No matter who is selected to ride the shows are always to the same standard. This year there are some of the up and coming UK riders whic is always a good thing to see from a trials riders point of view. I have been to four bikeshows now, but admittedly the last couple of years havent been as good to watch as the first two. I think this is mainly due to me becoming more aware of what is possible on a bike and progressing with my own riding. The course is always good, there isnt much more that cam really be done to a trials course (Other than the International Cycle Show course which was like nothing I have ever seen before!). I am also one of the people that are not quite sure about Clive G's commentating but he has the balls to get up there infront of everyone and do it so I cant really complain. Chris Ratcliffe imo does a much better job, Adam Read also gets a  from me. I was very impressed with how Ad and Chris commentated at The International Cycle Show! They worked well as a team sharing the commentating between them and they kept everyone informed with what was going etc... "Tic"

You wasted all that Helmans Saucy Chip Dip writting 'Royal Trials' on the floor (Y) Are you crazy? That stuff rules!!! Nice little video aswell

I dont know which day to go :) There are of people I get on with going on the Saturday, and also different people that have said they are going on the Sunday B) I doubt it would be possible to ride both days due to the interest that is apparent in this thread. I better get my application in soon, I sent off my ACU form and entry to the comp at the end of the month, I should have just sent all the forms off. I was planning to just chat to people on the 27th and decide which day then enter [and also chat to Terry to see if its ok to ride both days]. There are only about 60 members of the club (Many of which are not regulars due to transport problems) so hopefully it wont get 'fully booked'.

I will be going for sure! I dont know which day yet, if I am able to go to both days I would consider it. Limited to 30 riders though, so I doubt anyone would be allowed to do both days... Are you coming along the the trial at the end of the month to watch Rich? How long untill your back on the bike?!?! Venue is Newtown, near Wickham "Come and play on sections indoors and outdoors, including logs, pipes, sleepers, tyres, pallets and much more! No competition element, just a load of riders having fun on the Souths largest man-made trials playground" Both days limited to 30 riders, £5 entry fee, start time 10am onwards, all money (except insurance cover) goes towards Asian Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund. I think all riders require a 2005 ACU licence to attend... This should be great :P "Tic"

I think I will have to come along and meet up with you guys again :P I could even bring Bigman the part for his broken Avid caliper so he has a sorted brake for the ride...! "Tic" -
Brass section  The Filaments rule! They were very good at NASS! I havent seen any of the others though, I have to see Adequate Seven soon!!!
-
HAHAHA that pond is well deep in places!! A mate fell in there once when we were riding there and he went completely under and didnt hit the bottom so its easily 5 feet deep :)
-
Give me a shout on MSN  I have my old Avid Mechanical Caliper at home (The one that I snapped the drive cam in two). If I remember rightly the part you have cracked is removeable and I dont mind sending you my un-cracked caliper arm if its of any help :- The warrenty should cover it, I spoke to a bloke at Fishers about my caliper while at The Internation Cycle Show last year and he seemed really helpful, so you could always just give them a ring and send it send it back...
