Sorry for the bump but I am looking for a budget BMX at the moment. If possible I wouldnt mind being a cheapskate, there seem to be many full builds out there for under £250, being a n00b to BMX's I dont know what to look out for and avoid etc... so was wondering if anyone has any other budget advise... The wethepeople four seasons looks to be the safest bet for a fully build budget bike, the 2005 version seems to have a few nicer parts it but they are in a shitty orange colour (N) Why dont they do any different colours >_<

IMO they are a load of bollocks... They have just become a fassion accessory, its like "wow im cool cos I wear this and it shows off I have payed a tiny sum of money to a charity". If someone is seriously wanting to support a charity they can easily do a sponsored bike ride/bungee jump/sky dive etc... etc... but I spose if they did this it would be too much effort and they wouldnt have the "in fassion accessory" showing off round their wrist... As for the bands being sold for profit on ebay - Dont even get me started on that!

Good choice, I forgot to mention them even though there was that base jumping video posted the other day with them in it, well chilled out tunes. I also aggree Sublime are generally chilled out [although some songs are quite fast], they have shed loads of songs/albums aswell...

Matt left his bike outside his tent for all of 1min while he was inside the tent, it was 1min too long. Just be sensible and look after your bike in the exact same way you would if you were out in a group riding in a town. I left my bike in my car every night, Andy Hill and a few other people also left their bikes in the car... Come to think of it I lefty my bike at the campsite a couple of times when we went to Tesco's on a beer/food/toilet run. Most of the time there was someone at the big trials riders campsite so all was good even if people did leave their bikes for a short while...

I have been told if you squeeze a squash ball repeatedly it should help with arm pump. I have been meaning to go into the sports shop down the road from work and buy a few squash balls for ages. Has anyone else heard about or tryed this method?

They had to go to the left unless they wanted to land the back wheel around 1/2 a foot higher than the front wheel. Its hard to explain, im sure pictures/videos will appear on the net soon though...

yeah you can just select the one you want, i did it to a mates pc who had problems with a windows installation. You just have to be quite quick to select the correct xp install as it doesnt pause for some reason :lol: Andy

If it gets into the XP load screen then the partition table is fully in tact, im pretty sure it wouldnt even boot properly if the partition table was damaged. And as Steve said he managed to see the partitions in linux anyway so they must be ok. The problem i was talking about was where if you have multiple OS installed on the same pc, you get a menu just after the initial POST asking you which os to run, i think there is some software you can use to sort this out though, so it shouldnt be a problem. steve, just as a temporary measure, could you install xp onto a different partition or hd, then use that install to copy all the important stuff onto another partition (or HD). Maybe change the hd you use for windows to another one, although you may have residual problems when turning your pc on in terms of selecting which version of windows to boot into etc. Andy @ Tic's (p.s) sorry i didnt take your call yesterday i was driving and then busy :lol:
