  1. I will give James or Hobbsie a ring in the morning, this will hopefully be a fun ride (Y)
  2. I will be driving and dont know Pompy... Any driving instructions and advice on parking would be appreciated :P As I have already said I wont be staying for the party but will be around for the rest of this gathering :-
  3. I was born in Akrotiri and my sister was born in Dhekelia :P When I read this thread I was going to post saying Cyprus was or still is part of the Commonwealth but it looks like Kathy already posted all the answers...
  4. Ben Rowlands (http://www.glasseyetrials.co.uk/) got a press pass and accomodation paid for so he could film and make a DVD for Onza. I know he got a stupid amount of footage over the weekend but last I heard he was having problems editing and finding music he could use...
  5. As long as im free I will deffinately come along ;)
  6. Steadman managed to do both fine :- He arrived at Prawns house near Plymouth at 2am on the Monday morning after driving from the Yorkshire comp via Worcester ;) I managed to ride the Hampshire comp aswell as the Devon comp. My mental weekend of riding worked out to be about 400 miles travelling, riding 48 sections, messing round before and after the comps aswell as riding street in Taunton for a while on Sunday night. Anyone who can get to the Devon comps should deffinately make the effort, I was well impressed considering the club has only organised limited competitions
  7. I dropped 24 in intermediate 20" which I am fairly happy with. I managed to get no 5's which is nice (Well I lie, I got one 5 but I used my 'Joker Card' to re-ride it and get a 2). Was fun to go round with you Bigman, we helped eachother loads when walking the sections and planning (Y) I liked the idea of going round in groups with an observer per group, however this method proved to be slow due to the sheer number of riders and also a couple of the sections were misunderstood by some groups and ridden slightly wrong. The sections were planned well, the people were great and the weather held off for us (Cheers DJ :P ) So over all it was an amazing day!!! Cant wait till the next one!!!
  8. I will be there >_< I am riding the Hampshire comp tomorrow, staying in Taunton at Rich Pearsons tomorrow night [and probably riding some street] then riding the Devon comp on Monday. I will be the knackered midget/hobbit on a white 20" Megamo Radical wearing a fluffy bunny tee... I am riding intermediate [unless I feel brave when I get there and decide to ride Red route]. It will be good to meet some different people and ride a comp on some 'proper' natural (Y)
  9. Just picked my 306 up from the garage for the second time (Y) I picked it up on Wednesday 13th as planned but by Saturday 16th I was getting a warning light telling me to stop and the water temps were in the red! The radiator was below minimum so I filled it up, all was good untill the next day when it did the same again. Took it back to the garage on Wednesday 20th suspecting a problem the cooling system or [my biggest worry] the headgasket... The garage didnt really keep me up to speed with what was going on and I kept having to ring them up to find out what was going on. All I was told was that if it was the headgasket it would take around 1 week to fix. Found out Saturday 23rd it was the headgasket and it would be fixed as soon as a part had come from Peugeot. The repairs were completed last night and I went there straight after work today to pick it up. The garage have fitted a new Headgasket and also did the cam belt free of charge (Y)
  10. I will be doing the same Jimbo :) We could convoy it up to the comp from Pompy :P
  11. Colour looks familiar to a certain Ashton 24" (Y)"
  12. Norwich Union + Pass Plus = Job Done
  13. Me and Fred are deffinately going... [in his boyed up back of shit cheakychento >_< ]
  14. Looks like I will be along tomorrow aswell now >_< Its Southampton vs Portsmouth tomorrow (Luckily at the Pompy stadium) so there might be some drunken football fans later on in the day :turned:
  15. You better be in Southampton on Sunday, I want to *Cough*Steal It*Cough* er... have a quick ride round on it :)
  16. Same as me, although I have only been riding trials for around 5 years [seems like a life time though!]. I Have been into cycling since I was 9/10, I will have spent loads over that time! I have spent so much time and money just traveling to meet riders. Now I have a car and dont need to rely on trains its easyer to travel to places so I travelling more frequently!!! I must have spent most of the money I earnt during a whole year of part time work on my Echo ES3 while I was building it up :D
  17. And you sold it in the free ads to some pikey for £50  I wonder what happened to it :P
  18. It has been ridden before though :P In 2003 Granger rode to Castle Carey and back to go to an off licence, him and MikeC loaded themselves up with as much McBeer as they could possibly carry and rode back. After all the effort they put in for beer it was all gone within an hour or two. If they had rode the other direction they would have found a Tesco's about 2 miles up the road :) In 2004 Iain Plumb and Rich Pearson rode back on the Sunday, stopped off in the pub half way for a few beers, then we met them at the station with their bags which we had taken in the car for them (We had room for bags but no more people or bikes) Tic
  19. All new Action Dave™ comes complete with helmet cam :P
