Some of you will be extremely happy to hear that the legend Ryan Leech will be visiting the UK! As you can see on www.ryanleech.com Ryan is in England from June 20th to July 1st at various locations. I am guessing there will be a few demo's mixed into this UK trip, if demo's do materialise I will try my best to get to at least one! A Ryan Leech super fan I know (who doesnt use this forum) emailed Ryan this morning requesting confirmation this is in the United Kingdom and more info etc... Hopefully he will get a reply then I can post further information regarding dates and venues

I am sure some of us will be able to manage a Posh Nosh for lunch aswell :) Em said its only like £8.50 minimum order for delivery, I think I could make that up on my own :D I looked on weather.co.uk earlier and the weather said showers all day :S Although I am sure DJ will be up there keeping the rain clouds off us just like he did last year :)

HAHA Tracey must be getting fed up with all these bike events Steve! I dread to think what girly events you have to put up with in return :) I also think you should start thinking one of those Monty kiddies bikes for baby Callum! As soon as he can walk decently get him on a bike

Make the hair ginger Ad... I think a "Hair has to be ginger" rule has to be used (Y) EDIT Ad sorted the pic already but I still think the rule should be used!

Call me whatever you want (Y)"

I want to marry him just to get that surname (Y)

We ran out of bread rolls! Fatmike took some cheese and there was loads left over so bigman decided to use it instead of bread... Everyone took meat products but no one had the sence to bring a decent number of bread rolls (Y)

I can only think of 1 person with a T-Pro... He doesnt ride with us, I dont know his name or much about him at all and I have rarely seen him actually riding trials on it... Im on lunch from work and just rode through town, it was really busy but I didnt see any trials riders out and about! I finish work at 5 and might go out after work...

I used to run one on my bike aswell! I used to ride a Scott XC bike for trials untill I went out and bought an ES3, due to the square chainstays I couldnt put it on the echo easily. The rubber roller was a simple idea that worked but the chain wore a trench in the roller after a while, the worn away rubber simply became oil/rubber crap on the chain :) The DCD stayed on the Scott which is now my get to work bike, the DCD was on the Scott untill a few months ago when the roller finally died. I wore it right through to the plastic centre!!!

All the Salisbury riders (Apart from Fred) work full time so will not be out. Going out in a minute to ride most of the afternoon though. I dont know if you would find the spots easily without the locals being with you...

(Y) AWSOME DAY I got woken up at 6am by Wheeler and Rich! Its a shame this wake up consisted of being antiqued with talcom powder, having water poured on me then being taken into the garden to be power hosed :) My wake up was all filmed so expect to see it on the interweb somewhen! That fatmike, bigman and me picture is kinda amusing! I do think the video footage of that incident will be even funnier!!! I am going to have to come down to Devon to ride natural more often!!! That gap drop was insane, when they were up on back wheel at the take off eyeing up the landing it will have been about 15 feet away from their eyes!!! I cant wait for all the footage of this ride (Y)

Mini Disks are not good, mp3 headunits are where its at :S I might have my car (depending on how me, Wheeler and the Taunton lot sort ourselve between the cars, it might end up I can leave my car in Taunton and be lazy) so will have my mp3 head unit and shite loads of cd's :- I am sure I can sort out bringing along some sausages etc... -

Im guessing you mean take a portable BBQ or a load of those one use BBQ's along with us? If so great idea!!! From what Prawn has told me this place is in the middle of no where and you could set off a nuke without being heard, maybe we should get some music on the go aswell? -
He did have vasaline with him :turned: :D

I think using bittorrent will only work if you make it optional. Someone would have to upload the video's to a server as well as having a seperate torrent. I think using bittorent for video's would work best when video's are first are released as when there is a sudden rush of people downloading the full file off the server the bandwidth can get raped within a short period [TM1 is a great example where bittorrent could have been used!]

Its been suggested before... Si was thinking about using it on trials-shack but I dont think it will be the easiest thing for him to code. The main problem would be all the leaching scum that you would blatantly get downloading the video's then not sharing. The only way this could be sorted is by making trials-shack a torrent hoast where you have to keep a 1:1 download/upload ratio otherwise you get banned. This method would however cause Si even more problems coding :turned:

I am now staying in Taunton at Rich's tomorrow night. Cheers in advance to Rich and his Mum for letting me stay and making travelling much easier for me! Because I can stay at Rich's I will deffinately be coming along :turned: -
Ah it looks like James has already looked into this then. "Youth booking = Camping in a monitored high security kiddies section of the site which means no weed, beer, or sexual intercourse." = NO FUN ALLOWED (Y) I guess group booking/saving is out of the question then... :-

The Firday line is looking great :- Saturday is not looking too bad either. It may not be rock music you have The Sugar Hill Gang and Killa Kela. All of you should have heard The Sugar Hill Gang (Even if you have only heard Rappers Delight) and Killa Kela is suppost to be an awsome human beatboxer :D James, it says on the NASS website "YOUTH GROUP BOOKINGS, To recieve special disounts for groups of 10 or more ring: 0845 1304523". I am sure a load of us 'Soutern Fairies' could get together and sort out more than 10 people (Y) If we have a proper think about names of people I am sure something could be sorted easily! (We also need to be able to trust all the people to pay up and not leave the orderer stitched up, ideally everyone would have to pay upfront...)

Wheeler rang me tonight and told me about this ride... At the moment I dont know what I will be doing exactly, but I should be making an appearance at this ride (Y) I will have a space or 2 in my car if anyone needs a lift (Aimed at the Taunton riders seeing as its on the way and the fact is I will have to travel to Taunton first so I can follow Rich [who hopefully knows the way :- ]) This should be great, it stays light till 8pm now aswell!!! :D I have wanted to see[/Drive hehe] your mini for ages Prawn! Yeah it was the 2004 Derby Backyard Jam. I was doing a channel flick before turning the TV off and managed to catch the last 20 mins. I recorded what I saw and will watch it again tomorrow to see if I can pick myslef out of the crowd :- I am annoyed I missed the start! From what I saw it was a good program, the commentator wasnt too bad and there was some nice angles and filming (Y) I cant wait till the next Backyard Jam! (Brighton, 21st-23rd October 2005)

I saw the drummer from Bad Religion play a gig once... He was standing in for The Vandals drummer when I saw The Vandals play :D I still cant believe The Vandals played Salisbury Arts Centre as part of their mini tour (The Kerrang awards and 3 other UK venues). That was one of the best gigs I have ever been to (Y)

Interesting find Steve. At approximately 12:15, I open this thread while thinking I should be going to bed soon. I read all of the work from home article, even though it was really long I just had to continue untill I finished! I then read the McDonalds prank, the car tipping story and had a quick look round the web page. 1 hour later and I am still thinking I should really be going to bed :) I think I will check more articles on this site at a later date :)
