I thought you said you could already drive? Driving the car is easy... Add all the hazards, the laws of the road and other dick head drivers and its not quite so easy :D" :D" Anyways, happy birfday James :)

You know I am there already Andy... Can help set up the day before no problems (Can I boy up the old bangers using duck/gaffer tape and drive them round the field? ;) ) Only problem I can see is I am technically working on the 21st August (Y) I will sort something out though!!! If it gets closer to the time and you are desperate for observers I might observe instead of riding :-

I only ever really play on the dads army server... I managed to loose all of my contacts list on Steam so I wasnt sure if Cannon fodder was Tomm or not...
-
Bank holiday? Are you sure?
-
There is always someone called Cannon fodder (Without the tags) in the server I use. Is that you Tomm?!?!

You know what I was meaning...... Ripped off/Covered, similar things? :(

I think you will find that the song was originally done by "The Anti-Nowhere League" and that Metalica actually ripped it off ^_^" I just went to their web site to get the lyrics for here, I had also heard they were playing in Salisbury soon so checked the gigs page and found out they played Salisbury a couple of weeks ago and I missed it :( More Worrying Anti-Nowhere League Lyrics Anyway, Lyrics:

Another breakage and repair today... Pulled away from some traffic lights just leaving Salisbury to go an ride Portland, my car sounded mighty rude boi so I pulled over to try and find out what the problem could be. Was simple to find, the exhaust has litterally broken clean in two about 1/2-1 foot before the back box (Y) I was on the same road as Bathwick tyres so pulled in to see if they could fix. They heard me coming and as soon as I pulled into their car park one of the mechanics was out like a shot. Within about 30mins of arrival I was back on my way to Portland complete with a new exhaust (mid and rear box's) and £99.88 less in my bank account :D I ideally want to find somewhere that will quote me that sort of price... I am shopping around, it seems being loyal does not pay!

That reminds me of a film called "10 things I hate about you", one of the main characters is after a cheer leader so he gets the marching band to do their thing while he runs around up in the stadium singing to her  Not a bad film if you ever get the chance to see it (Y)

Got my renewal through from Norwich Union today. Next year will be costing me £923.40 (Paying £76.95 per month) for third party fire and theft with 1 years no claims discount. I also have pass plus but am not sure if this has counted towards this or not, I will be phoning them up soon to check about this. I dont think this is too bad but I am still going to shop around and see if I casn get an even better price...

This comp is the same day as the Hampshire competition. I had the choice to either drive a maximum of 1 hour to ride what I class as crap natural, or drive about 3 hours to ride 'proper' decent natural :D I have chosen to ride some 'proper' natural and travel hundreds of miles more :D See you all Sunday (Y) -
Indeed I do. I have a 1997 1.6 LX 5 door 306 currently with 71,000 on the clock. I bought it for £2795 when it had about 69000 miles, it had 2 former keepers and full main dealer service history up untill around 52000 miles. The headgasket went within 3 days of me ownng the vehicle but luckily the dealer I bought it from was sound. The dealer replaced the head gasket and cam belt free of charge, the only annoyance was not having a car for 1 weeks while they fixed it. Aparently it is common for a headgasket to go on 306's at around 70000miles so be warned... Since the headgasket has been sorted I have been very happy with the car. It eats loads more fuel than my old 1 litre 106, but considering the massive difference in engine size I cant complain! Tax will be like £160 for per year as its a 1600 engine, insurance isnt too bad as they are group 5's. 90Bhp as standard, 60 litre petrol tank, Parkers say a 38 miles per gallon and a top speed of 111mph (Although many people have pushed them further fairly easily!) You can get 2 bikes and 2 people in the car no problems! You can also get 3 bikes and 3 people in there fairly easily (But so far I have only done this with 2 24's and a 20 I bet you could get 3 26's in there though). You can fit roof bars and bike racks no problem if you needed the extra carrying options. If you need any more specific info just post in here and I am sure someone can help out... Tic

Do you know for a fact that TRAlalalala does not go through loads of Try-All parts? Im sure that even if he was eating his sponsors parts for breakfast while going big he wouldnt post on a forum telling everyone...

I have a pair of these pads aswell Wayne, all seems good so far but I am not gonna be posting an opinion on here untill I have ridden the pads a hell of a lot more than I have already. So far I have not ridden them that much but the YMSA comp this weekend will hopefully put the pads through their paces  Who said they were for sale as the 2005 pads?!?! Why do you need a pic? A brake pad is a brake pad, you will never know how well they work from a picture!

Alton Towers is awsome  And yes, there is loads of interesting trials lines all over the place! If only we could get our bikes in the place  How cool would it be to get employed by Alton Towers to ride round all day as a form of entertainment for the park go'ers?!?! :P I only went up there last month but I think I am gonna have to make the trip up there again before all the kids break up for the summer and it gets stupidly busy up there (Y)

The other side of the skip was a ramp up/wall ride constructed from pallets. The more streety riders were using this to wall ride (obviously) and to stall on the lip of the skip. Ben used this ramp up to roll into a 360 off. In the pic he is mid way through the spin, he landed the move after a few tries :D EDIT - Damn Tomm beat me to it

haydon_peter replied to aj_trials's topic in Member Organised Rides
I have ridden there twice now, I even rode with one of the only local riders (Howard, not sure if he rides anymore?) who showed the spots... Its ok for a day but Basingstoke isnt that special... Basingstoke is also full of chavs :)" -

I beat Nick for getting home at stupid o'clock! I have only just got in! :) I dont know how far I have driven today, I have a feeling I have only covered about 250 miles so you deffinately beat me in distance travelled! I am tired but am fueled by Redbull so am gonna struggle to get to sleep... Today was more of a social event than a ride for me, was great to meet a few new faces :)
