  1. The motherboard is quite an important bit :("
  2. All you need to do is remove the lock ring and the first things that come off are the cog and a spacer. You can use this spacer either side of the cog to adjust chain line about 5mm either way if you need to...
  3. Do you need the whole driver? If you just need the cog you can buy a new cog for under £20 and fit it without taking the whole hub apart...
  4. People also seem to forget that gloves are an important piece of protective equipment! What do you use to save yourself from many nasty bails? Yes thats right, your hands! I have been lucky not to hurt my hands *that* bad while riding but I am sure people out there have absolutely wrecked there hands when bailing gloveless!
  5. All the obstacles will be on grass... I hope you dont get too upset by that :P
  6. Are you deaf or something? ;) :D
  7. I might buy myself some of that climbers chalk for the summer. Jon Fisher introduced me to that theory when I first met him a couple of years back on a ride in Basingstoke (We also had loads of fun throwing the chalk ball round and at people leaving large white chalk patches and hand prints ;) ) DeeJ then told me how a simple alternative was to use Talcolm Powder so in the summer I usually have some Talc with me in my bag. It works but last summer I found myself putting gloves on after a while riding due to soar hands, not sweaty hands. I am going to try the chalk/talc method again this summer and stick with it through the pain of riding gloveless and see how it goes....
  8. HAAHHA that was classic. You were like "where have you hidden my bike" then you turned around and saw it locked to the tow bar of a pikey caravan :) People were bullying you all w/e Danny :( You shouldnt have announced the fact you had brought vasaline with you though :P
  9. Lee's tent was the place most people were storing their bikes last year (Y) I just bunged mine in the car overnight... This year I will be leaving the bike in the car durring the day aswell so I can have a proper look around the show...
  10. Its Sony, it has the brand on it, it must be good... The Sony head units are not too bad, they seem to be the best if you want to go the mp3 CD route. In hellfrauds it was only the Sony head units that read every file on a mp3 CD I played with... This was nearly 1 year ago so maybe mp3 head units have gone up in the world but thats why I went for a Sony (Note I had a £150 budget at the time and did not want to buy from the internet)
  11. But at the end of the day its still a Corsa...
  12. Fred's excuse is wanting to be a rude boi with minimal effort... Fred: I dont care if you were not the one that keved up the car, you still bought it and drive round in it! (Y)
  13. OK, I will be lazy and enter on the day then :) Cheers Matt (Y) I hope this doesnt make it stupidly awkward!
  14. Those Sony 6*9's suck sooooo bad, yes they may only be <£50 but they simply sound shite! If you dont belive me get into a hellfrauds and compare them to all the others on display... John, did you not know that if you run 6*9's and a sub you get street cred? :P Not to mention how everything will sound like its coming from the back even though your sat at the front. Also dont forget that all the bass will sound muddled and wank and that the sub will destroy the 6*9's. Since when has Alpine stuff been cheap? Its all the rage buying shite cars and trying to make them look un-shit, everyone knows that!
  15. Crap  I still havent sent off my application for the 25th Matt!! I will get it in the post first class tomorrow so you will have it Friday, will this be cool? Or would it be ok/easier to just enter on the day? Im such a lazy dick (Y)
  16. Shite yeah that gap is switch footed! Tom is kinda wierd with what foot he uses for certain moves though, he did go through a stage of riding switch foot to help his riding all round. Toms bike now has added stars, he managed to find a star sticker sheet in a WH Smiths
  17. This is Tom's first attempt at editing a video and is still having problems using Premier. It's not an amazing video, even Tom himself does not like the video but he wanted me to post it anyway. Linkage to 609 Vid Discuss... Tic
  18. A big car audio forum - http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/ Which is run by an audio supplier http://caraudiodirect.co.uk/ Your best bet would be to look at 5-1/4"(13cm) speakers. The most common sizes below that ares 10cm and above that they come in 6-1/2(16.5cm) If you are going for component speakers with seperate tweaters there will be some form of crossover to send the relevant frequencies to the woofer/tweater. This is commonly a seperate box but with limited speakers they are small and 'inline' I am guessing your planning to make your own speakers up? If you are there has been someone on talkaudio that recently made up his own speakers using some Infinity components and some custom made boxes. It was within the last couple of weeks I saw that on there but cant find it now... If you have problems finding shallow components it would be an idea to look at Coaxial speakers (Tweaters built in with the main woofer rather than being seperate) which generally are not as deep as components...
  19. No the Azonic ORC is an alu stem. Linky to the stem on the CRC web page The newer stems (See pic in the link above) have ugly looking welding on them but back in the day they looked much nicer and were used by quite a lot of riders...
  20. What did I do to get a well done? Your the one with a g/f getting some action, your the one that deserves a well done :D :D
  21. I once found a crack in the front clamp of my Azonic ORC stem... I just changed the front clamp and threw the cracked one in the bin as a friend had an old clamp spare...
  22. MSN convo with James continued...
  23. Why is that Fred? Its not like you dont do it! Everyone tugs the battleship (Y)
