Requested the upgrade from wanadoo last night. Just got home for lunch to find that I have been upgraded to 2,272kbps :- Im really impressed, they must have done the upgrade within all of 12 hours! Now all I need is a big file on a decent server to test out how fast she can go

If I didnt have work 9-5 tomorrow and Norfolk wasnt so far away you know I would be there Dave :- Are you going to the YMSA next weekend?

If you look at the top picture you can see a camera on a tripod, this camera is used to decide all the scale etc... before using the same camera to take the final picture :)"

look here for the offer We currently pay £27.99 per month for an uncapped 512mb connection. I rang up to complain that I would change providers if they did not upgrade us to a higher connection and got told to visit the website for an upgrade offer. I can do is pay a one off fee of £20 to unlock the account to a 2mb connection then pay either of the following depending on what limit is wanted: £17.99 for a 2gb limit £22.99 for a 6gb limit £27.99 for a 30gb limit If I was to change I would obviously go with the 30gb limit and continue to pay £27.99. So do I change to the 2mb and move to 30gb limit, do I stick with what I currently have, or do I start looking for another internet provider?

Channel4 Now.....danny Way Jumping Great Wall Of..
haydon_peter replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Chit Chat
That was it, longest ramp to ramp gap on a skateboard, he already held the record but he decided to add a bit more to his existing record at the same time as being the first person to jump the great wall of china on a skateboard <_< -

Its Sub And Amp Time For The Mini.... Want Bass!
haydon_peter replied to Prawny Baby's topic in Chit Chat
As Simon said, I am putting the amp and sub box behind the single fold down seat, this should still allow me to fit 3 bikes and 3 people fairly easily if I need to. Most of the time I only have 2 bikes and 2 people in the car anyway, so thats 2 people in the front seats, 2 bikes accross the back seats with front wheels out (Note, I dont even have to flatten the seats). On rare occations I do have to fit 3 bikes and 3 people, so I just fold down 2 back seats and lay the 3 bikes down one side of the car, even with a sub/amp behind the single seat this should still be fairly easy to do! As Simon also said, I mostly listen to music while im driving. At home I have my parents and sister to winge about how loud I play my music and when I play my music, in the car I can listen to what I like when and how I like! -
Its Sub And Amp Time For The Mini.... Want Bass!
haydon_peter replied to Prawny Baby's topic in Chit Chat
I ordered a 4 channel JBL GTO 75.4 Amp and a JBL GT4 10" Sub + Carpeted Box from caraudiosecurity last night. I recieved an email this afternoon confirming that my order has been dispatched :) (Fingers crossed It will arrive tomorrow) I will keep you lot updated with how it all goes, I cant wait to finally get this finished! So far I have: Cut away a small strip of door card and make some 12mm mdf spacer rings to get the mid speakers to fit in the standard door locations. Remove the passenger seat and lift up the carpet to run the RCA lead, power cable, remote cable and speaker wires under the carpet from the front of the car to the boot. I also had to drill a hole in the bulk head to run the amp power cable into the engine bay. Make a 3mm mdf mounting board for the crossovers which are up in the passenger foot well out of sight. I am left with the final annoying final bits: Mounting the tweeters on the dash or the windscreen a frame, I will be using double sided velcro/sticky pads so I can easily play round with their location. Mounting the mids in the door. Run all the cables from the crossovers to the tweeters/mids in the front of the car, cable up the amp/sub then attatch it all to the head unit before powering it up :) I will hopefully have this all finished by Monday, I have tomorrow off as a rota day and should be free on Sunday if I still have any final bits to do. -
Best place to park is at the ghetto skatepark kinda near the train station! You could park in Earley at Danny's, but everytime I have parked at Danny's or Timbo's, or even the earley train station (then got the train 1 stop to reading) I got lost when trying to navigate round Earley :P I couldnt give you directions to the ghetto skate park, all I can say is that you travel away from the train station and go over a bridge crossing a river then turn right. Its free on Sundays and well lit up in the dark :(

I have this beast for a back light! I bought one of these years ago from my LBS and its still going strong! You can put it on a frame mount but I litterally just clip it onto my arse and ride! (I clip it onto the roadside back pocket of my trousers/shorts and it hasnt fallen off *yet*! One time I also clipped it onto my camelbak and did some late night country roadying!) Its really bright considering there is only 1 LED and on mine there are 3 modes, slow flash/fast flash/constant. It takes 2 AAA batteries and the battery life goes on and on and on... I always find that using the above light and clipping it on my arse worked a treat!!! :)" I rarely bother with a front light. The main reason I dont use a front light is because nice front lights rinse through batteries stupidly quick! I am also more worried about the cars on my side of the road seeing me! (obviously they will be coming from behind me). I only ever use a front light if I go out for a proper night ride, sadly I havent done a night treck for well over a year now. If I do use a front light its a some Cateye Halogen thing that rinses through 4 AA batteries within just a few hours!

Someone should bid something stupid for it then pull out complaining it was falsely advertised! >_<"

Unless DDG have completely re-designed their frame for 2005 that isnt even a DDG Shooter frame >_<

I have to ditch this CRT! It is massive and takes up all my desk space. And to top things of the stupid thing has started whining like a whore (a high pitched squeal untill I play with the power connector on the back). When I get round to purchasing I will go with either Iiyama or Samsung...
