Yes I know but it wasnt like you had any other option at the time (While at Koxx Days a lead in Mikes audio setup packed up thus a bodge was required to get his second amp to power up, the bodge was bridging the 12v power accross to the remote point on the amp aswell) I aggree with Danny, you may aswell just run a remote along with the phono/RCA lead(s)

You would need to run the remote cable from the back of the headunit to the amp. When the headunit is turned onto radio/cd etc... power is sent down the remote cable which tells the amp it needs to turn on, while the headunit is just in standby but not playing any music the amp will be switched off. Without the power from the remote cable its unlikely the amp will power up...

I had this problem with my car once. The first time I went to check the tyre pressures on my 306 one of the dustcaps was jammed on solid. Note for some reason there was metal dust caps on a couple of the tyres, there are now none cos some chavs must have nicked the other one but er yeah anyway... Even with the use of a spanner and lots of pasty the thing wouldnt come off so I had to take the car to a tyre place and get them to fit a new valve. So yeah, even though this was meant to be some stupid joke it can happen

Tic Mates jokily called me Tic Tac while we were playing football in the summer holidays a few weeks before I started secondary school. I ended up in a form group/class with another Peter and my mate remembered the day when everyone called me Tic Tac. This nickname got picked up by most people at school and it quickly became shorted to just Tic and it has stuck with me ever since. I only really get called Peter when I am at home, with family or at work

Just the ride for me aswell. Sadly I wont be able to make the Devon comp, its a friends 21st partaay on the Saturday night so there is no way I will be in a fit state to drive to the Devon comp and ride. I really wanted to ride all the Devon rounds this year!

I wouldnt worry about the engine size, your not gonna get a nice 306 for under a grand! 306's are not that high on the insurance either, my 1.6 306 is a group 5 and the 1.4 is group 4 insurance I believe.
