Archos Gmini XS202S I purchased that player along with some Sennheiser CX300 Headphones a few weeks ago and am extremely happy so far! Works through USB and windows recognises it as an external HDD, drag and drop mp3's into the Music folder on the player and your done. The player is nice and small, the battery life is decent at ~17hours, you have 18.5gb of storage and the sound quality is amazing! All I have done is stored all the files as 'Artist/Album/Track Number - Track Name' and they are all listed in decent order

Bigman and Hobbit, ripping up the single track I would personally not bother with a 22t front ring and spend the money on a wider range cassette, I have never had to shift out of my 32t ring even with some of the mamoth hills I have gone up! 22t is just too spinny and pointless IMO! Not sure how XC you are gonna go on it, but those tyres might cause your death and like I have said a to you already, enjoy the Avids fading on the downhills! You must make that bike look tiny! Are you not finding it a bit crampt?

I ran EA70's in mid rise with a Zoo stem on my bike for quite a long time a couple of years ago. You do have to tilt them forwards to get a nicer sweep like has already been suggested. I have now gone back to Echo flat bars (Cut down to a sensible width of about 27" though!) because they have more sweep which I prefer. I also changed to an Echo mod stem which is a bit higher so I didnt change the bar height that much. I would experiment and put the Easton's back on the mod but they now live on my XC bike.

November 2004, after months of planning a date was set for the official SM Pissup MK1 which consisted of 2 nights out and a ride at Bracen Rocks. The venue was to be Loughborough seeing as there were 3 student houses for everyone to crash at. This is the best group picture we got over the weekend. Missing from this shot are Jon Fisher who couldnt make it that night but showed up for the second night out, and Joel who was off somewhere chatting up a bar maid I think We have, in just about left to right order: George Seamons, Dave Clever, Tomm, Mink, Adam Reed, Danny Tipple, me, Jimbo, Dave Dennis, hititfaster Tom, Steve Garrett and Andy Hill. In that pic its, Tomm on the bottom, then me and Andy Hill spit roasting George (I got the end that bites and andy had the rear, also note that shortly after this picture was taken the police showed up and told us to move on ) I just looked through the gallery of that weekend and couldnt stop laughing! It was such an amazing weekend! Its crazy how well we all got on even though we only really knew each other through the forum! To date there have been 2 SM gatherings, a third has been on the cards for well over a year but finding a venue has been hard due to people no longer being at uni and having full time job commitments...

Colour is nice, better than Silver! I would advise you put a booster on the back brake to protect the crossover cable though

The idea behind it is, say the inspection costs £200, but in that inspection they find £400 of stuff that needs doing, you can use this as a way to haggle the price or get the work done to the car before you purchase it and in theory you will make the cost of the inspection back. They take the vehicle on a road test and then do a mechanical inspection (it is visual, they dont take everything to bits). I dont really know too much about what they do though as im not on that team...

DVLA wont do any checks for you, they will just give you the phone number for HPI. www.carstatuscheck.com Thats the cheapest price you will get a HPI check for. Its just a HPI check without the mileage check or a parkers valuation (the mileage check is pretty shit imo, and you can get a parkers valuation for free on there web site anyway!). I wouldnt even be able to do you a cheaper deal if you called me at work (Obviously I work in the HPI Call Centre) If your really worried about the mechanics you could get the RAC to do a RAC Vehicle Examination, if you call to speak to someone about the examinations you will just go through to a team sat 10 feet away from me, or if your feeling nice just call HPI and ask to speak to Peter so I can transfer you to them and get commision

He hasnt fitted the drop offs yet. Ghetto bike Andy, an interesting selection of parts -
The address I put up there goes to the same place as far as I know, its just using a PO Box address can sometimes take an extra day to filter through the post system. When I sent my wheel I sent it to the 1 Cliffe Avenue address aswell...

When I completely knackered my ratchet (after over a year of use) I just rang them, explained the situation and they were really helpfull. I sent them the whole wheel in the hope they could get the old ratchet out of the hub and just fit a new one but there was no way they could get the ratchet out of the hub. The rim had a few dings in it and spokes are cheap to replace so I told Profile not to worry about the rim and spoke and just to bin them. They built up a new hub using my existing internals along with a new hub body and ratchet. I requested they sent the hub up to Tarty for a new wheel build which they had no problems in doing. I got charged about £35 for the new parts and next day postage, considering the hub was over a year old I didnt have a problem with doing this. Profile kept me updated via a number of phone calls to let me know what was going on with the repair and I was very happy with their service! Also note that its mainly trials riders that run a Profile Mini Cassette hub with 12 and 13 tooth drivers so its fairly obvious whether or not the hub has been used for trials

Any Riders In Or Around Abingdon? (dj's Hometown)

Classic! When I read Pete's post I had a chuckle, then Jon's reply was even better -
Everyone sits/kneels down. Play Roxanne by Sting and the Police. Everytime the name Roxanne is said you have to stand up and take a mouthfull of your drink then sit down again. It sounds easier than it is

What Did Your Parents Do For You When You Learnt/learning To Drive?
haydon_peter replied to Joel's topic in Chit Chat
I got 10 lessons for my 18th birthday present, I think my parents also paid for my theory and practicle tests, but other than that I paid for everything, all the other lessons, cars, insurance, tax, MOT's................ -

I work right near a M&S, Percy Pigs are purchased on a regular basis if someone from my team is sent on a sweet run If I eat too many my teeth sting so I try to avoid going mad with them (Once me and a mate polished off a 400g bag in abour 30mins inbetween taking phone calls!) Dont forget Percy Pigs and Chums if you want to add a bit of variation!

Most of the measurements and angles appear to be on the Marin website in both inches and millimeters, but cos I am feeling nice I just went and measured my SMALL frame up for you just incase it helps: Seat tube 15" Top Tube 22" BB to Headtube 27" Chainstays 17" *All above are approxomations, if you want more measurements give me a shout I think a Medium would be fine seeing as you are wanting to be able to jump and mess around on it aswell, you can always whack the seat up high for when you want to cover some distance
