  1. Tunni an CLS will have a shock when they come up against the sections! Remember its UCI marking. Have Neil, Craig an Ceasar rode UCI before? :bunny:
  2. A while ago, in a performance car tuning mag, an american guy had totally modified a new civic with carbon. He replaced the bonnet, front wings, front/rear bumpers, parts in the engine bay, doors and door cards, seats were raw carbon, spoiler and boot, also the speakers were installed in a carbon surround, steering wheel, dash and probly a few other things i have forgotten about. Mainly used because of its strength an light weight. F1 cars, and a lot of other race cars, use full carbon steering wheels. Mclaren Merc SLR, the front end is made entirely of carbon, for a 'crumple zone'. Ask Prince Nas how good it is, he got out without a scratch!
  3. Fri/sat/sun :P Final score is the total of the 3 days
  4. I was the guy with the back pack on going round with Danny! Yeah I hadnt had a shave for a couple of days :"> lol
  5. Just like to say well done to new British Master Champ Dan Butler. After a close fought year with Chris Akrigg, they tied for at the final round today at Hook Woods. Dan taking the win by most cleans, and taking the overall placing for 2005. Well done to all the other class winners, Ash Butler, Lois Morgan, Duncan Shaw, Waynio and all the others who i've missed. Looking forward to next year, if Dan can retain the title. An as his minder i'l make sure he does!!
  6. Wiggle Ltd (023) 92370033 Unit 1a, Mountbatten Bsns Pk Portsmouth PO6 1US That is what I found using BT 118500
  7. Nail on the head (Y) The definitions are american Mod= modified for the purpose i.e. 20" Stock="off the peg" mtb
  8. In the rules you are "in" the section when your front axle crosses the line between the first set of markers. And you are "out" when the fron axle passes through the final set of markers. So yeah he was fine
  9. poo pusher Dale winton Michael Barrymore
  10. One possibility is that on a trails bike you spend all your time standing, therefore your legs are nearly always straight. So when you cycle with your knees bent the muscles arent used to working that way, so it hurts. Also cycling sitting down just puts more pressure through your knees, full stop. To strenghten the muscles around your knees do squats leaning against a wall an hold the position where your things are parrallel to the ground for 5sec then stand again an repeat. If 5secs is easy then hold for 10 an so on. This is an easy way to strengthen the muscles around the top of you knee without bulking them up. Also what minitrialer said, make sure you arent letting your knee lock out at the bottom of the pedal stroke (where your foot is closest to the ground) that can cause jarring of the joint an pain.
  11. How did Andre Burton get in those pics? An his beard is soon gonna make a bid to take over the world
  12. www.coustellier.co.uk I know they do the renthals
  13. Ages ago I was practising with another rider an he came up with a very good point, So, if you can only get it for a 3 on your first attempt, then fine. Look back over it an see if you can clean the parts you had to have a dab on. Some obstacles are put in to take marks off the "lesser" riders. If you like to 'split the men from the boys'. So that everyone doesnt end up on 0 at the end of the comp. I would be seriously stuck if I couldnt have used tech dabs in the worlds. because at UCI I rode the same class as Cassio, Hermance, Vinco etc etc, an there is no way on Gods green earth that i could get through some of the sections without a tech dab! In a comp you only get one shot at the obstacle, fail an its a five. Street riding you get as many goes as you like till you collapse or get bored of failing! Completely different ball games.
  14. So your comparing someone who has made at least 28 videos with a rider who edits his own video's, an this is only his second! Aust might not have access to the editing equipment that zoo have. Did you not read the first post either????? or the 5th post? Also the music was a bit of a laugh, a play on words if you like. The song is called 'high'

    Wiggle

Not sure if this should go in here or not, but I just wanna big up Wiggle.co.uk. Yesterday morning I ordered some knee/shin an elbow/forearm pads. Didnt put priority delivery on them (as a cheap-skate I wanted free delivery) and they turned up this morning with the postman! (Y) So even if i had put priority delivery I wouldnt have got them any quicker!!!! I have used wiggle once before and they were good then, but not this good. Just thought I would let everyone know what a great service I have had from them. Cheers
  22. Yeah I play golf. I'm more of a good weather golfer though, dont like playin if its not sunny! My mate broke his carbon shafted driver on the range. Thought he smelt burning, then the head flew off up the range behind the ball he just hit! Was proper funny!
  23. Have you looked at the Onza Carbons? Or the Woodman Wild n Wide TT's? Think they are both around the 29" mark. Edit: If not get some bar extensions made for your own bars :D
  24. Was the precinct a pedestrian area? If so then they are no cycling areas, so thats why he fined you. I was talking to a guy ages ago about street riding (he was a DHer) an he was sayin that if the police wanted to they could really go to town on us for so many things about our bikes. size of tires, no seat, dangerous to ride on the road, riding on pavements, no lights/reflectors Not sure how much is true, how much they can actually do you for, but its scary if you catch one on a bad day. I feel for you mate, im not having a go at you for what u did by the way. I have only ever been told to get off an walk wen i have riden the pedestrian zone in my town, so i have been lucky.
