UCI Youth Games. For those not old enough to ride the Full Worlds. So how did a world top 20 UCI rider get left off the list?
-
Looking good. Old site was ok, new site is tres bien

So what you saying is that previous UCI experience, and results, count for sweet fanny adams?
-
Well done guys. But.... Where is Rob Poyser? Sure he is ranked in the top 20 UCI world riders!
-
Thats Clarkson! I went to MPH back in Nov, an him James May an Tiff Nedell were ripping the piss out of Hammond then. An he wasnt fully recovered then! Tuesday night

Started at about 9 or 10. First bike was a Fantic.

When you get this trick dialled, then take it to the next step ala Rich Johnson! From the 180 endo into a full 360 rear wheel spin! No idea if there is a name for that though.

--> QUOTE(danny B @ Jan 23 2007, 11:56 AM) ←yep the problem that i was having on that day was that the weather was defo kicking me in the balls lol i couldn't get any traction because i was coming almost out of a rut in the mud almost as deep as my tyre and now i fly that tap every time easy lol and it is only just off vert btw but i think anything over 58 in comp situation isn't worth tapping you may as well hook it because it is sooo much more consistant but it is 68 or a little more but it is huge.. I have some vid footage of you hitting that (i think) was taken may-june time 2006. Its a huge rock, only just off vertical. I remember the first time i rode there with Dan, it blew me away this rock, i just couldnt get anywhere near it, no way no how! I could've been there all day running at it! Dan floats it to rear, an yeah he taps it. He has a couple of huge taps set up in his back garden as well. But like he says, anything over a certain height you then need to change your technique to make life easier for yourself.

16hrs, passed first time Now have a full no claims discount as well!!!

You should've contacted Olly at MXCUTZ.co.uk, as he races thumpstars. He makes his own swing arm protectors an they are the bollox! DannyB used to go through a standard one everytime he rode, then got one of Olly's an that was it, never changed it again. (till he got a Five0 swing arm that is!!) Your YZ 85 a 2stroke yeah? I have riden some mental bikes (my bro had a YZ450F that would out pull an R1). An I would still have a pit bike over a "proper" MX bike for fun any day.
-
I had a mini-bike (120 thumpstar pro) an it was wikid! I am over 15stone an almost 6ft an it was pulling my arms out! they are ballistic. I have riden full size MX an enduro bikes an the thumpstar was much more fun. Soon as I can i will be gettin another thumpstar!

Have you got a pallet farm there? They seem to be growing!! You gonna harvest them in the Autum an sell them? Nice mate, will have to have a blast on the Dual when I next see you!
-
If its a 1.5lt engine then it would need to be 150bhp
-
So where is the meeting? Just happened to be that i was the opposite side of the world when the letters were sent out!
-
Cheers for that. It says its the Tyketrial AGM, not the Biketrial UK AGM! Or are they the same thing?
-
Obviously a lot of people know about it happening!!!
-
Is the AGM open for anyone to attend or do you have to represent a club etc? Also where is it and what time does it start?

Very true, as long as they do remove road tax. But will they? The dartford bridge for example has paid for itself now. The cost of the toll has paid for the building costs of the bridge, but the government has seen how much money the bridge makes on a daily basis (millions) so have they got rid of the charge now the bridge is paid for, NO. have they dropped the price, NO. Its just another way of the government making more money. Big Brother is watching you. Easy way to make money. There is also another proposed charge in the making. now this is a good one. The LEZ (low emmisions zone) Anyone who drives a vehicle inside the M25 will have to pay this charge. Now at the moment they are proposing it for 4x4's, vans an lorries. The cost? £250 per day. If you dont pay expect a fine of upto £1000 in the post. If this works an goes into action then there is nothing to stop the government implementing it in other cities. Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol etc etc. If you dont think that this will affect you, how is everything in this country delivered? by van or lorry! Just watch the price of everything go up!
-
My father brought this to my attention. This is a petition against a proposed new tax from the government. This tax will affect everyone who drives, anywhere! Basically this tax will cost you per mile, on every journey. This will be on top of all the tax you already pay on your car. Fuel tax, road tax, VAT etc etc. LINK HERE From the site: The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay. It will be an unfair tax on those who live apart from families and poorer people who will not be able to afford the high monthly costs. Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion. So everytime you drive to work, or to go anywhere to ride, your car will be tracked an you will be taxed on how far you have driven. Apologies if you dont care, or arent bothered about this. But i for one dont think that the motorist should have to pay more an more taxes everytime you turn the key an pull out of your drive!

Im looking into this myself, as something different to do. Have tried a few small walls before, but nothing major. A mate an I are going to a place called Craggy Island in Guilford to do a course which will enable us to climb any wall in the UK on our own. Basically to show you how to use ropes etc safely. This link shows a load of locations in the UK an around the world where you can go an climb. This link takes you to the British Mountaineering Council's site and their wall locator. Also if you need any more info then the BMC will be the best people to contact.
