Sweeeeet, sorted. Cheers guys, was like you said, had to do the top cap up first THEN the stem Had an awesome ride, no where near as good as I used to be but I'm making progress every day. Will get some photos tomorrow. Thanks again x

The spacers are Hope and never had a problem with them before. I did tighten the stem before the top cap, I shall try the other way tomorrow Just feels like a broom handle in a well, don't see how it was tight before. Will update tomorrow. Nothings ever easy... Cheers guys

Pretty sure I got all the spacers. Looks like half the bearing case also?

Ok so I ground my rims (Yes rims, I only done the rear first but the front was SO bad done that too!) and had to go for a ride. I have a 2 seater car so took the forks and stem off to get the bike in. Got to the location, put the bike back but the forks wobbled about! Spent 20 minutes and gave up so now I'm here... Whats wrong?! Olly

My mate had a brisa, think he might still have it actually Ground my rims before I went out for dinner, first time I've ever done it and they feel awesome! Was going to have a quick ride in the street when I got back to test the new breaking power but ate WAY too much. Will have to wait till tomorrow. Looking forward to it One of the main things that has stopped me progressing is my lack of faith in the breaks. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem. Oh ye, T-brid Tom. You know I was just thinking of a nice grind! Want to do the front but I like gapping to front wheel so wouldn't be a good idea! Might have to give the discs a try. I'll update once done

Pads, gone through so many, whats on there now?! Err i think there the koxx bloxx, dark brown. Fronts are the old red ones. The koxx bloxx didnt fit. A bleed is a good call, bikes been sat there for years! Olly

Been riding quite a bit this weekend - Love it, good to be back! I'm quite a big guy, 6ft 6 and 15 stone so the brakes need to be superior! Hope monos - I remember them coming out as I stopped. My biggest concern is knocking them? I'm into techy stuff and spins so knocks might be common. My bike is custom built. If I can remember the parts are - Levelboss 1065 (Cant remember wheelbase properly, might be right?!) Middleburn cranks, Onza forks I think, the koxx ones snapped, Hope hubs - Have kings come down in price? Anything else out now? Tryall bits, Thats pretty much it. Back break was slipping a bit on weekend which doesn't give much confidence, want to get this sorted! Thanks for the info so far though guys. Anyone around my area? Used to be a load in Plymouth.. Olly from Newton Abbot, Devon. Used to be called 'Ogginz' on here a few years back. Quit trials a few years back but kept my bike, well now I'm getting back into it. Would like some advice... What kind of breaks are about now? I have the old HS33s on the front as I had 2 sets of the new style ones which both leaked. New HS33s on the rear. Olly
