    Long Roadtrip Video

Tis an awesome vid. worth a watch if you got time. 51 mins long. (Y)
  2. Jimmy you faggart you have had a stock before so you should know what they ride like. Didn't you say you had a pitbull copy? (Y)
  3. wow that takes me back to about 1998-99 when I was 10yrs old. I remember they had a rig set up outside BBC building and there were 2 riders doing like a mini demo for Blue Peter. That was the first time I had ever seen trials before. Anyway I thought it looked pretty cool, so I went out into the garden on my little bike (20" wheeled mtb) and attepted a back hop. :( 2 mins later I was back in the house wondering how on earth anyone could through a bike around like those riders had just done on tv. :bunny:
  4. Yep I should be riding in the afternoon if I get back from the pod in time! Lets hope the weather is as good as last sunday :bunny:
  5. I'll be there if weather is ok. Jimmy maybe you can show us them rock's that you were riding in them pics. <_<
  6. I started out on a T-pro and found it fairly easy to learn on. However I know of some people who started riding on stock bikes and they improved just as quickly as I did. At the end of the day it comes down to which one feels better when you ride it. Worth trying both a mod and a stock out if you can. The T-pro is a great bike for starting out on. (Y)
  7. I'll probably be riding if weather is ok. Maybe get some locals out aswell (Y)

    German Road Trip

wow yea some big moves there. would like to see the full vid. (Y)
  9. some quality pics there. looks like a great place to ride. (Y)
  10. I have the magura lousie FR on the front of my stock and a mono trial on the front of my mod. Both are very good brakes but the magura does seem a bit dull in comparison to the hope. Lever feel and overall build quality of the trial is on a level of its own and it's very cosmetically appealing. Where as the louise is just a bit bland really. Haven't had any problems with either brake apart from setting up the trial which still isn't right. :) I would go with the hope. :S great performance and looks for the money. plus you get a braided hose and the option to purchase different colour parts for it such as bore caps and levers.
  11. Yea if I brought that bike I wouldn't want to have any stickers/graphics on it. Onza ones look quite naff at the mo. :)
  12. I wana see a 24" T-rex as pictured and a 24" woodstock with different spec's to cater for every one's budgets and preferences. I'd probably buy both :)
  13. well I have decided to go for a surly cog. Will get on the blower to Tarty Bikes asap and see if I can get me one! Thanks for all the replies :)
  14. Interesting! But does it work well?
  15. Great, think i'm going to order one asap then :D
  16. Well I have found this cog. click here Suppose to not dig in at all. What do you think? I guess its not the end of the world if it were to dig in eventually anyway. Cheers for the replies
  17. I am thinking of changing to a single speed set-up on my stock. I currently have a king rear hub and was just wondering if I could use one of those single cogs along with the spacers. I have heard that after a while the teeth on the cog can dig into the hub and damage it. Should I be worried about that or is there any other single speed kits available that prevent this from happening? help please :">
  18. Stephen here on Tim's computer (too lazy to change screen names). Dean, I'm in London now, so can't give you a lift. Well I won't be coming now anywho weather looks shit and I haven't got any money for train fare. Have fun tomorow anyways if you ride, Hope weather holds. :)
  19. I started out on a mod and was quite happy riding it for a year or so. However every one that I used to ride with had stock's so after a while I wanted to get one. I decided to buy an onza woodstock which i think it's a great bike, and got on really well with it. Learn new moves and developed better techniques after a very short time. Although a month or so ago I decided I wanted to own a mod again, and purchased an 05 echo team. Now I change bikes every other week or so, and it really helps me improve. Like I after I have been riding my mod and then switch to the stock I start trying to ride it the same. :) Worth getting a cheap mod to ride around on at first just to see if you get on with it, and keep your stock so that you can always go back if its not for you. :)
  20. here here :'( I'm sure it will be worth the wait. :P"
  21. I might be up for this ride. Will travel with you steve if you are going :D Stephen, If you are still trying to remove that bolt, try this. Get hold of a splined tool for removing splined bolts, one that is just a bit bigger than the allen key size, and force it into the bolt using a hammer. Then just put a rachet on the end and turn to remove the bolt. Works for us on VW brake calipers. :"> Anyways see you in london? :P"
