  7. Like Max says get some magura's, pedal wise i like dmr V8's iv used them for years and tyres maxxis creepy crawlers i got my first set of them 4 months ago and I'm very happy with them so far. Also you will need some tar to put on your rear rim at some time because as you start to push harder and get better it helps, with braking and keeping it on the back wheel. Hope i have helped. Earl

  11. Hello Herr.Wolfkatze Your V brakes should fit but i'm not sure the only way to find out is to try them. I have had both 32h and 36h hubs apart from being a bit stronger and heavier it doesn't matter i think, but normally its 32h street 36h downhill if i remember right other than that its up to you mate.
  12. Hi Alex I started on a normal mountain bike when i was 13 it does take some effort but you will get there its just practice, practice, practice. I got a 20" trials bike about 5 years later i still ride a 20" now but also still ride 26" too just not as often. I would recommend getting a 20" now most get on with them and get very good within a year. Also most 26" now are a lot lighter than they use't to be so that is an option too, see if anyone you know will let you have ago on theirs and see what you think.
