  1. Anyone riding rougly this area tommorow, don't know any riders in the area would be awesome to go for a ride with other people for once? Matt
  2. All you need is an i-pod for boredom cure with no-one to talk to and a creative mind, do something new interesting it may not be a difficult line but attack something in a different way look for something radical and get your creative juices flowing
  3. yes confidence will be high but ability low, i have ridden under the influence before just staying on the back wheel balanced becomes quite a challenge but very enjoyable
  4. Yes I am massively looking forward to this, however problem is i am at a huge house party tonight not finishing till 4 and i am obliged to stay and drink copius amounts, so if your see some one on an inspired falling up curbs and generally looking screwed its me, however the plan is to still be merry when i get on the train
  5. What is your problem with dmr, I run the dmr moto digger on my 24" and its been an awesome tyre, rolls nicely and no punctures and very grippy
  6. Is anyone coming from Hertfordshire area? I'm tempted on driving down or train not sure yet as parking is hard and expensive. I'm coming down on my own so would be good to meet someone at liverpool station or something?
  7. that was truly awesome and for myself aswell really brought back the old school days, I'd love to see if some of the modern tgs guys could jump on that bike and ride it half aswell as ot pi could then
  8. They may be out to lunch however they do love us all apparently
  9. I want mine to be brown, that is awesome, I'm running a dmr moto on the back and I have had no problems however i am running a dh tube but even when rimming out its held its own.
  10. I like the idea but I think the highest/ biggest is a bad choice, I think a street section set out with loads of varied obstacles with a panel of respected pro;s like say Ashton/ Hawyes/ Akrigg etc that judge out of 10 on how good they think the run is, street isnt all about biggest its about style and creativity.
  11. I would do saturday but I am working unfortunately....
  12. Just built it up about a week ago, nicest riding bike I have had to date I would say. Spec- Inspired fourplay frame, echo forks, chris king headset, front and rear atomlab trailpimp rims on front ns disc hub and rear gold chris king, dmr moto digger tyres, deity bars, azonic chubby stem, inspired seat and post, gold hope qr clamp, middleburn rs7 cranks, dmr v12 pedals, rear old school maggie with echo pads smooth rim and leeson booster, front hope mini trial.

    Manuals?

Cheers guys, I was going to get the bmx out and try but just went for it on the inspired I think i was just not giving it a good enough yank as I can now pull up into a manual its just learning the holding it bit, Luckily I prefer old school smooth rims so I can feather the brake and it doesnt bite to sharpish straight away, thanks for the tips, I just have to keep practising.

    Manuals?

This is the thing, If I hop up onto a ledge I can quite easily sort of slow manual across it without front dropping or needing the brake if already on the back wheel of about 8 foot, its just pulling into them, I think I don't commit enough. Just go for it I guess. Cheers for all the advice guys

    Manuals?

Well I suppose after 7 years I might aswell give it a go, whats the worst that can happen, I can't even avoid it by saying oh dear its raining, because its just stopped
  16. Anyone up for riding some street in london. I was up there this saturday but missed everyone at the slope walls as I ambled along down to the shell centre in a day dream and didn't realise the time so just rode southbank on my own, I would prefer some more company than my i-pod this time. Anyone interested?

    Manuals?

I have never been able to manual in the 7 years of on/off riding trials, I am at a stage where I am riding a lot more streety style and riding a 24" inspired, the last thing I really need to get under my belt for what I want to ride is manuals so the years of avoiding them has to stop. I have always blamed it on only being like 5 foot 6 and that I never have the leverage to pull into them but I know shorter riders who quite easily pull into them, firsty what is the best set up for them i.e. I am running an average length azonic stem about 80mm I think and some diety dh bars with a nice rise. I do find the new bike a lot easier to pull the front end up but never seems high enough, anyone got any tips on pulling into manuals or is it just lean back harder and pull up more?
  18. qsically as per title I'm at the shell centre and have no way of finding them, any one got his number???
  19. I am up for riding London saturday, I havn't ridden in ages and have just built up a new inspired fourplay so could do with giving it and myself a good thrashing. What time and where you meeting?

    Watford

Me thinks your from Aberdeen which if I am not mistaken is not particular close to Watford and you will give very little tangible input to this thread, because you see this questions was more an open question to keep the thread active to see if any others would reply apart from me!!!!

Any other riders at all up there? Well apart from grant, how often does he ride these days?
  22. I like the idea of the sloped wall but have the wall flat with the ground stepped under neath at about a bikes length each step against the wall, use steps of like 1 foot high, then you could sidehop from flat or hook and range from 1 foot to like 5 by the end for hooks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- ---------------- ------------------- -------------------- --------------------- You can see my ultra accurate drawing above using nothing but grammar My last post didn't quite work, the steps should be staggered after each other following the wall along, I will try a drawing without using punctuation as the basis.
