  1. Well everyone says they snap really easy, so spending that sort of money on forks that are lightly to snap isn't be best idea. Although if your not a hard rider im sure they will be fine with you, depends on how you ride. I don't have these forks by the way, this is just what people have said. Hope this helps.
  2. Thanks for all the replys guys, I think its between the Echo SL, FSA pig or Hope. The pig sounds like a good option considering its only £20 so il have a look at that, my old stock bike had one on it and its seemed really good so im leaning that way. Again cheers guys
  3. Mine for biking is to be more confident when sidehopping, and try harder to go higher. Also to go on more rides.
  4. That bike is minging, don't mean to be offensive.
  5. Ok cheers mate, i will think about it .
  6. Barings are sh** in it, I just can't get it tight, Iv tried everything and worked out that its my headset that is recked. So my headtube could be flared? Iv only had this headset in it since iv had the frame.
  7. I have an Echo Lite 07 but I have rear magura, the rest of the bike rides nice, Iv had no problems with it. It has a fairly good geo and is pritty stiff.
  8. Yes you can bleed it in any thing that can hold water
  9. I currently have a Onza Mongo 3 headset but its rubbish. Im after a new headset no more than £40, Im thinking of the Echo SL headset. Any suggestions? Thanks guys BY the way my frame is an Echo Lite 07
  10. Just post them to Tartybikes to get them done, or buy your own kit off ebay. I sent my frame to Tarty to get the mounts helicoiled, they done a great job.
  11. +1, black rims with black rim tape looks smoooth IF you had red hubs that would look pritty sexy!
  12. Echo Urbans are beasts!, mine is great, super strong.
  13. I have one and its holding out strong, the only pain I hasve is that it still makes a noise after Iv had it for months now. I thought it was just bedding in but im not sure whats going on. Anyway its a good chain though.
  14. Nice vid I loved the intro by the way, you don't see many like that.
  15. +1 I was thinking of posting a topic about this, they are such a good business now, most businesses wouldn't put out information like this as the only want to make money but tartybikes offer information so people no how to fix their own bikes. They are a real posative image towards trials.
  16. Don't get a because and never buy from T-uk there the worst ever. I think you should go for the control, there nice frames although iv never rode one, there good quality.
  17. Ok iv been out and had a go, using the snail cams on the inside of the frame i can get enought tension on the chain. But the snail cams catch on the chain so its no good, and i can't use washers because there isn't enought axel left to go in the drop outs. Any help would be lovely .
  18. Cheers mate that sounds like that will fix my problem because Im not even running washers behind my bolts. Thanks a lot, I will try it later on.
  19. This might be the clearest way of finding out http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=12 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=22
  20. Thanks for that, an ok I will try that and I thought the TR cams were some of the biggest ? What will washers do when there on the snail cam bolts ?
  21. Basically my drive system is pathetic My frame is an Echo Lite 07Echo TR hub with Echo TR snail camsKHE collapse 1/8 chainA 12t sprocket on the rearThe old Tesnsile 18t freewheel on the front Right - First off, with my frame am I ment to run my snail cams on the inside off the frame or the outside ? I have been running the cams on the outside lol. Secondly - Iv taken out as much links from the chain as it will let me to fit on the sprokets, I tension the snail cams as far as they will go and I get hardly any tension on the chain. There is enough room to take one link out but as you know that isn't possible ha. Can anyone tell me what to do or any ideas ? Thanks guys I would love some help George
  22. I agree with some of that but I think with the standard forks, bars and stem they would be the best option to change first. Thats what I did when I had my Onza, trust me you won't regret getting new forks. Even the lower class monty forks on tartybikes would be a vast improveent. With bars I would buy riser bars but this all depends on the budget your on. George.
  23. Hey I used them once a while back as a "for now" thing and they seemed ok but I might be wrong, they had quite good bite but lacked a slight bit of hold when on the rear wheel. Then the rain comes - They sucked on a smooth rim in the rain, was real poor. Why not get the Rock greens for smooth rims instead ? Or get a grind ? George.
  24. Upgrade your forks if I were you mate, i use to have onza forks but when I upgraded to Echo Urbans there was such a huge difference and felt much better.
  25. I doubt many people no what there like because there new, they seem fairly reasonable but for that price you could get some Echos or something that you no works good and that is reliable. Hope that helps.
