because when they snap, everyone just says, well it is a comp frame, so why dont they make a street frame, so when it snaps in a week they can say? or they could spend some time get some good street riders to test them for a year or so, and theyd have quite alot of customers most likely EDIT: And no its not just the weight, the geo aswell, look at 04-07 pythons and 06 07 gu, adamants, ko bike etc geo, then look at the new koxx/rockman/onza whatever. EDIT again: I'd ride a light frame if the geo/price was right, and it was stiff and STRONG, but most light frames = flexy and weak also expencive.

The biggest end of that bb goes on the drive side, the flatish bit none drive side, usually the bit you can pull out easily goes on the none drive side, and the really stiff bit goes on the drive side.

gets you through the section quicker and easyer because its lighter, i dunno i dont ride comps, all i care about is it not flexing and being strong for street.

street frame is long and low, stong and stiff, not caring about the weight comp frames are usually short and high, really thin tubing light, not made for heavy use or whatever

im not looking for a comp frame, im looking for a street frame, deng makes 'comp' frames now.

but NOBODY is making them anymore? every frame is a COMP frame, because there so light and when they snap, they can just say, well it is a comp frame blah blah.

Are there any frames which aren't designed for comps? lol I think companys just say it because when it snaps they blame it on the street, but meh, I think they could make a really nice street frame if they dropped the bb abit and made it 1025-1035.
