Sorry matey but..... Raw materials have come down incredibly in the past months (I know, I but them!) A biger part of the reason everything keeps going up in price is the fact that it needs to be transported around the world. This means Fuel - ultimatley - OIL. Yeah sure - materials did drastically rise in price for a short while, but it swings in roundabouts! Scrapage was also at record highs as well. I think too many of the larger enginnering companies (in all industries) have used and flogged this excuse to th death. Decline and downturn of economic profits and trade, is, the main reason for all industries to look at thier "get rich quick" pricing. Look at the British government and motor industrie's approach - offering £2500 scrapage allowance on old used cars not worth £100 It could'nt carry on forever - seriously!

I'm a cnc programmer and machine lots of interlocking tapers for many different applications A coke can is, in many ways, a good way to shim/pack/repair tapers or fill out worn interfierence (drive) fit holes. Proper shims from a merchant cost lots of money. Coke cans are cheap. Dont see how you could use one to remove a freewheel though! Would like to see that!

Yo, Going double disk now and I have a few disk brakes to choose from, but could do with a bit of advice! First off: Avid Juicy 7 ultimate (with tap) on a 185 rotor. This brake is s**t hot, but, is a 185mm rotor too big??? Hope mono m4 on a 203/5mm rotor. I have not got this brake bled up and as such, do not know how it peforms. Hope Factory Mono Trial on a 160 rotor. Can this lever body be used upside down like the avid, or, because of the hand orientated resivoir, can it be only used one way??? Would appreciate some good advice on this topic as I personally need lots of hold and bite. (due to me bieng a fat knacker!!!) Regards Phil.
