Would like to strip the black paint off my forks and have them sprayed white, what would happen if I used paint striper? would it affect the new paint going on? Or would i have to sand the forks down after using paint striper?

Hey, I'm having a problem with my magura on my Echo forks I have killed the mounts two times now , First time I killed the threads so I re taped them, then they went agen , So this time I drilled the mounts out and re tapped to M6 only ridden it for 20minets to day and endo droped off a wall and my forks flexed agen and pulled the threads out of the forks, Is there anyway I could weld them and start all over agen?

I have one It rides so nice It's in bits at the moment though but yeah really high BB 80 + and long frame too! really nice on rear wheel for backwheeling ect.. hope yours is nice too, got any photos??
