this is why its been a bitch of a decision for me bc i dont wanna waste money n time gettin something then changing over. I used to ride stock and i miss the big wheels since riding the inspired. But afte 2 years on that, 24 just felt soooooo right for me in terms of manouvering but i barely did any tgs riding, it was all flowing streety moves and massive drops on the move. The geo on this because is a recipe for pogo stick madness i know, but i think thats 3/4 the reason why its appealing atm bc thats what im after. in a year or 2 i might look into a stock once ive got my hops, gaps and sidehops down pat once more.......sooooooo lost touch

Veeeeery quiet work day so I played around with photoshop a bit and a because build. Reckon the colour combo and bit of spray on the back of frame looks sharp. Green bits are hope headset and mono trial i got, learnt some new stuff in photoshop too

id have to say gm.......but i drive a new wrangler so im not the best to ask. 66 mustang sitting in the garage half restored so im all over the shop

I gotta say all the advice and pointers ive been getting through pm and email is overwhelming. Its bloody fantastic how tight knit a community trials riders are with help n stuff, and im on the other side of the world! Bigass thumbs up!

nah its all good, we got all mushy in pm Im startin to think for someone my size and with the offset of the forks, the 1499 might feel a bit long, or i can just go a shorter stem...

Ah this is poo, now im stuck which frame to go. Im coming from a fourplay and am torn between another 24 or going back to a stock. I want to do 90% tgs stuff in the street, no natural (or barely any) and all I did for 2 years was rolling moves, nothing static, bunnyhopping like a rabbit and generally rockin it like a bmx. Wanna get super stable on the rear with hops and gaps again but im just torn which frame to go. I know the because trial 24" (not street) is gonna be mad pogo fun with the short cs and high bb but I know eventually, ill go a stock once im back up to scratch. Im also thinking of just getting something like the 1499 on trialtech forks instead but dont know if its gonna be too long for me, havent been on a stock for ages. Out of the 2, which is gonna be more controlled and stable on the rear? Everything else aint a prolem for me, i just want something i caneasily pop up and sit on the rear wheel with for aaages which I found I couldnt that well with the inspired. Thoughts? im about 5'6 or 5'7'' thereabouts. Cheers

until EVERYONE who even queries this debate actually jumps on a street geo 24", then a trials geo 24" then from own experience compare to a mod or stock, this whole argument is void. Most people on any forum trying to make a decision as to what frame, bike, parts etc to go for usually rely on others feedback of varying skill levels and 1,000 other factors to make a final decision. End of the day, if its a frame you have never ridden before, u gotta just jump in the deep end and try or buy it to see how u go! Hell im a massive culprit of this, i just got rid of my inspired and soooo on the frickin fence about whether to go for a because trials 24" or go a stock like a 1499 because i really wanna concentrate on tgs style riding and be super comfortable and stable on the rear wheel

you mean with the top and down tubes running pretty much parrallell, and gusset reinforcement like on the slateII between the bb and toptube? are they horizontal dopouts/??

nah thats the name. 1060mm, bb is +65, 71.5deg dont know chainstays and apparently weighs in at 1.5kg. I would LOVE to see a pic to hold me back from getting the because.... i know u cant show a pic yet ali, did u see the grey?

God dammit, just when im about to order a because trials 24" I get wind of this new rockman tractor 24". Does anyone have any pics? Im guessing not. Does anyone know the CS? Im guessing not. Dammit who knows something ????

yeh i think it would be a nice setup and as much as i loved my pro2 on the inspired, i think i really need something with more engagements. Thats 1 thing i realised whenever id pedal up or just popping onto the rear wheel, i hated that tiny bit of play i had before engaging

heres what im contemplating for the build: because trials my trialtech stem and either my trialtech risers or diety 2.5" (ill experiment my mono trial team front disc braided my 33 rear braided w my echo sl clamps and my trialtech carbon booster my hope team headset and my trialtech forks get rid of my middleburn pro trials setup so i can run an echo 108.9 ffw, trialtech cranks, inspired twin alloy bash, my inspired pedals front trialtech disc hub and 24" trialtech rim, rear trialtech fixed hub with 15t screw on and 24" echo tr 44mm rear rim More I think about it the more im liking the idea. Really liking the idea of going shorter chainstays but still sticking with a 24 with nice geo, just wouldnt mind hearing a bit more feedback from people who ride it

i think im narrowing it down now to a because trials or a yaabaa 1499 lol. So its either stock or 24" What im after is the one thats gonna be the most stable and easy on the rear wheel, I really wanna get to more tgs stuff after being on the inspired for so long, and I didnt spend any time really doing sidehops etc on it.....thats what im mainly after now. Which do u think is gonna be more stable on the rear?

are those black frames a matte black or gloss black paint? Some of the pics look like its a matte finish....im guessing the white is gloss white, not matte?

yer i was checking out all the posts from here, beasty riding in that vimeo clip too! Thats whats pretty appealing to me is that all my 24" parts i can transfer over, ive sold my rims and hubs but ive still got another set of hope front and rear hubs to use on it, but id def go from my current 24-17 gear to 18-15 for the sake of better clearance, that middleburn bash is pretty chunky. Seems like a really sweet frame I mean dont get me wrong, if I had more money the inspired would still be here and id have another bike, but the geo of the because as a 24" seems soooooo appealing. How did you find it on the rear compared to the inspired? Im just wanting to do alot more static moves than rolling street stuff i was doing on the inspired.....
