Hey, Im 6ft 4 (Y) So im even taller than you. Im lanky as f**k and i ride a 24" Leeson. The wheelbase is 1040 on mine ( 1cm longer front end than the Ashton ) I personally find the size perfect. I run a 100cm stem and theres plenty enough room to shift my wait around in and direction. I also find, with longer bikes there is so much room that it seems uncontrolable... This is why it has impproved every aspect of my riding after moving from the Echo Pure ( although i had an Ashton 24" before that) The change over was great, imediatly it felt good generally. But did feel strange to gap etc becos the bike was so rigid and twitchy, it was hard to get used to it again. But once youre used to shifting your wieght around on a 24" i think youll find it improves your riding becos you have total control over every movement of the bike, even in mid air. Iv had quite a few different frames, and different styles of bikes, and i can safely say this is the only bike that feels comfortable for eveything. It just feels right. I highly recommend a Leeson 609 (Y) Laters, Sharn :S

Thanks, which pic? Do you guys prefer it with stickers or without? Sharn

Same as the Asthon ET but an extra cm on the front end.. the w/b is 1040. Its perfect imo :) ---> My bike with no stickers <-- Im thinkin of buying the 'we the people, OMEN' sticker set. Sharn

hey guys, Theyre just standard 360 dropouts yeah :) and no, i didnt ask for a specific length to get perfect tension.. it was just coincedence. Im runnin a leeson tesioner now anyway becos the chain stretched and became abit slack. Its black becos iv always had black bikes, and i like them. pretty simple. Pink stickers have gone now anyway, its now just black n silver. I got my old seatpost back on too after clive machined it down for me. It looks much nicer now. Ill try get a new pic soon :) Pretty certain this is the last frame i will ever have, its perfect, :P Sharn

Ive worn brown cords daily for ages, i get most of mine from H+M, theyre cheap, pretty good quality, and nice fit :o I love riding in them too. Anyway, laters

Personally i think maguras are shit. :P If you set a v brake up correctly i think theyre much nicer. Maybe not better for absolute lock, but for actual hold. Ive seen too many 'whooshy' maguras to ever go back. They all lock beautifully, but never hold on edges.. if you get me? Only magura i ever liked was Bonos , which was clean CRM pads on a clean CD D521 (Y) Works amazing Also, i prefer the idea of the pad being 'pulled' into the rim when i pull the lever, rather than 'pushed' in like with maguras. Just my opinion :( I have some pretty good V converters that i ran on my pure. edd potts made them for me. The design wasnt perfect, only due to the clearance of the arms wasnt great, it was soon sorted with a bit of a file :P I ran them on the pure no problem at all.. you can buy them if you want? I dont need them anymore Add me to MSN moo_star@hotmail.com Sharn

Yeah i run a V, have done for years now  For a long time i had SD7 ams, xtr levers and spanish fly pads, in the dry it never slipped really in years (sometimes not as bitey in the dust) Then i got ultimate arms, which did improve power n bite, but motly just gave a much more positive feel as theyre very smooth and have no play at the bolts, also the arms are very stiff. I had the same pair of spanish flys for ages ( i recomend these on anodised rims, cd, black sidewalls etc) Theyre soo grippy if set up correctly. I trust my brake 100% and its only ever slipped a hand full of times in years, (normally due to dust or bit of wet, nothin a good bit of spit on your finger doesnt cure :(" ) If your dont have the money for an ultimate, SD7 arms are fine (Y) Cheap cabling lubd up with wd40 is all ive ever run. and xt or xtr levers feel nicest imo (avid levers feel horrid and they get loads of play after a while) Sharn

It was second hand when you had it? :S How did u manage to sell it me without even mentioning that? :S Anyway, Liam.. it looks so nice, just think a silver chain would look better :o Sharn

Nice vid. You didnt happen to be in Long Eaton the other night did you? I swear i saw a guy on a t-rex who lookd like you. Sharn

I did have a black QR but it wasnt in the best condition, so Clive didnt want to use it.. so he gave me a brand new silver hope QR :P Also, hes gettin the 5mm bolt QR's soon so ill probly get one when he gets them in stock :D The seat post is backwads because i like to have more layback than what it can offer forwards. My old seat post is still with clive being machined down. Im runnin 22-18 gear ratio. So no, its not particularly big. Thanks for all the comments guys, i have better quality versions of the pics, ill try get someone to upload them for me. Cant wait for the weekend (Y) Sharn

Just wonderd if there was actually any difference between the full silver one in the bluey box... This one.. And the one with black bits inbetween each plate in the black and gold box... And this one? Because iv had both, and i was able to snap the black bit just in my hands, but i cant on the silver ones. Just wonderd if theres any difference at all? Or if it was just coincedence i snapped one :turned: Sharn :)
