  1. Theres about 7 of us from stourbridge coming in on sunday hopefully, just gotta find somewhere to camp between porth and bristol for the night.
  2. I should be there, maybe with a few other people from Stourbridge. :) 10th is good for me (Y)
  3. You aint guna get a kot second hand, and even if you do itll be alot more than £150. Wait till a control comes up on for sale and buy that, save some more money in the mean time, they are beautiful and itll be more than worth it.
  4. The armadillo is a freeride frame, i have one sitting in my shed builtup to mess around on and ride to work on. It is a very nice frame to ride but you either love or hate the look of them. There is a massive fake gusset on the top tube, it looks wierd but i kinda like it. But for 200 quid it is very good. Just not for trials  It has sqaure chain/seat stays and a cnc chainstay yoke. They are sized quite big, i think mine is a small and its 17", so its big enough for xc with the seat up and low enough for some tough stuff with the seat down. As for strengthwise ive been jumping on mine and im really crap (well im ok at taking off, just landing is a major problem), but it took all i could throw at it, even when i stacked jumps and nose dived drops." Andy Ps. It is a completly different frame to the pitbull, the pitbull is a steel, heavy street/trials frame, whereas this is a light alluminium freeride frame.

    How?

Isn't it less to do with the power you kick and more to do with your legs, you plant your back wheel down in the right place when you extend your legs. Thats why people who have been riding longer are smoother because they get the right amount of kick so they dont have to force it down as much with there legs therefore making it sound alot smoother, but when you first start you force the back wheel down loads because you cant get the kick correct. Also muscle memory helps you get the right amount of kick for the gap on an unconscious level. Thats what i think anyway, it might be a pile of tripe, should probably have left it to someone with more knowledge, but ah well. :( Andy Oh yeah, that gap looks so good.
  6. Ck anyday, anytime, anyway. I love my king, even if it can be a right pain sometimes! :P Andy
  7. That video was awesome, i was like this the whole way through :P Ive watched it 3 times already. Hope your wrist gets better soon, because if that was with a bad wrist, the next video will blow us all away!! Andy
  8. Ive got loadsa footage from that day, it looks mint! That gap doesnt even look possible in real life. The vid is guna rock!
  9. Man seb thats gay, but ive got some good news for you, were coming down brighton and ill speak to you on msn about it. Also waynes coming so if we see the f**ker he wont even think twice about putting a bmf mark in his face, like the last 3 people who tried to steal his bike. lmao!! Last time he dented it and broke two spokes on someones nose. Hope it heals fast, some people are so gay, i cant believe it. There is just no need. You did the right thing though, if you would have fought back it could have been much worse, and in situations like that i never know what to do either. It must have been really unexpected though, just walking up and smacking you. It could have been worse, look on the bright side. You still have your bike. But you still have no seat. :P EDIT: i cant spell

  11. Lol, that looks much better now, its ready for some extreme action!!
  12. WOW... Awesome, thats all i can say. Oh and roll on the next one, cant wait!!! (Y)
  13. Well i want red. I was thinking of spraying my hose red. lol If heatsink can get some, i would definatly buy some.
  14. Liking it steve, we need to ride together again soon. Ill come to worcester soon, i promise. Even though i came a few days ago, just dont have your number. 24 inch seems so much fun!!!
  15. Mike i saw you the other day, if only id have known. U wud have had a big kiss from me i tell you now! Keep it up, awesome stuff. shocking!! (Y) :)
  16. The way i did mine was: 1) Cut the end off of a gear or brake cable (the end with the little ball on) plus about 2 inches of cable. 2) Thread the cable end into the mech as though it had come from the shifter (i.e. through the hole at the back towards the front of the bike.) The ball on the end of the piece of cable should stop it going all the way through the hole. 3) Get the mech in the right place and tightened up the cable under the screw as you would if you had a shifter and full length cable. This way, its just like having a cable on but without the shifter etc. This has worked very well for me and once setup i haven't needed to touch it. Hope this helps. (N) EDIT: bugger, just read your post more thoroughly and thats no help. But if no one else can help then it might be an option.
  17. Lol, sorry but that was funny.
  18. Ill go for v brake also. Ive got an xtr and its stupidly powerful, with good modulation. Also you would probably sturggle to twat it on a wall like a disc.
  19. Thats quite strange cuz my zoo pads were awesome on a grind for the two days they lasted. lol :) But my brake goes crap like every few days due to build up of stuff on the rim. And im using plaz pads now. What i do is get the pads and the rim and put cellulose thinners on it, let it evaporate and yippeeeee... works like a dream, at least until it gets more crap on the rim. Might aswel give it a try.
  20. I love it and i want it! :) Its like a bt thats been on steriods. Im enjoying it. New frame list = Gu followed closely by the hi-fi. :D
  21. Surely he could make one to fit a middleburn set of cranks if he can do that. Actually on second thoughts getting all the teeth right on an isis one would be a pain, maybe you could do square taper ones? It looks really good i think, well done for being creative. If i had the choice of revision or making something like that, it wouldnt take me long to decide
  22. Mike = legend :- Loving that video, especially the riding infront of the camera to get footage
