im running a 90mm hope stem with 10 degree rise with steve pete assasin bars which have a high rise and since i have run this set up my bike has felt alot better. Give it a try definately worth it.

do you think it would be advisable to bleed the braidied magura hosing with water? wats the advantages/disadvantages of this?

the 1.5" headtube size was on the more recent frames, that were made to go with thier own mission forks. The older it is the more chance you have of it being 1 1/8" but you should be able to get an adapter from somewhere. Look on CRC or Wiggle

I'm interested in getting some hope braided hosing to pimp my bike up a bit, but, before i go and spend out on it, has anyone had any experience with any type of braided hosing. Good :- , bad :- ??? Sorry to be asking a question about things that have not been available that long, but i have heard people have had trouble with braided hosing in the past (Y) . Cheers Kerley

I think now that leeson have there own saddle out, if they didnt make there bikes with a proepr seat tube then they are limiting there sales themselves......which would be a bit silly. Cant wait to see this bike though, i think it will look great (Y)

a black bash would make it look much nicer but other than that its mint!

me and my dad made one how you have mentioned but had trouble getting it to centre at the start. so we got an old plastic bit of the end of a hose pipe(orange or yellow usually) ans put that on the bolt too and voila it has worked twice so far and i havent cracked the frame or damaged it. yours should work fine mate just go carefull. will get some pics of mine if you want?

I think it may also be due to people seeing mod bikes and because they are not as normal or as much like a normal mtb they are more associated(sp?) with trials. I know its kind of like that in my area anyway.

what is the weight like compared to the ashton? i assume its heavier but is it that much different?

did u purposely time that so it took 42seconds the same time as the amount of engagements or was it just a coincidence
