Gallery is sorted now, and you can actually search it. Dunno why that setting wasn't already enabled, doh.

Just completed the upgrade. Lots of bugs fixed. If its all looking a bit funny (eg the post screen) press CTRL+F5 to refresh, should fix it.

As has been said 'Both'. If you teach yourself you'll be likely to avoid the more boring parts, which are usually the most important too. Employers will want qualifications. Liking HTML doesn't necessarily mean that you'll like programming though, I've got my computer science degree now - and I hope I never need to use it. Try and learn some Java or something (it's all free) before you decide, and see if you like it first.

What about a decent dvd player that plays mp3 dvds? Not an ideal solution really.. but worth a thought. Or one of those wireless streaming seperates doodahs... still requires your PC to be on though.

Um, good question. I should know this from Uni, but I forgot. Problem if your computers on the network will have private/internal IPs Its possible, might just need to set up port forwarding on your router.. yep that might do it.

Install this on your home computer - http://www.tightvnc.com/ Leave computer on while at school, Type in your IP address at school (que handy quote from tightvnc website) Your screen from home should come up, allowing you to use your home computer from school..

Taken onboard... Ive set the max image size to 5000x5000px. So unless you upload an image larger than that, it wont be compressed. I've also taken the watermark off which was contributing to the problem. We tried making people use the gallery to put bike pics in, but it never took off. People don't like change (the fact the gallery is a bit pants and confusing doesnt help either) Ive half sorted this out, now when you hover over the link/image it'll tell you what happens when you click them. I figured if people like the picture, they'll click on it. Once on that page then they can see who posted it etc, it also tidied up the page a bit. I might add back in the poster of the image and maybe the date, it gets pretty messy/confusing then though. Might just do that Very much so, cheers The view image page has changed a bit, theres a handy BBCODE button and its generally been tidied. Any more opinions are welcome.
