Um, mine was a bit different I guess, it was more of a report than an essay. I guess with a proper essay you'd have the equivalent of chapters in it each explaining different bits (mini essays? each covering a different angle/subject?), along with an intro/abstract and a conclusion type end. Thats a guess though.. wouldn't worry about it, its surprising how much work you can do 24 hours before the deadline (even though you've been awake 2 days already). Feel sorry for everyone who has to do them this year, good luck all I don't envy you!

Its actually not very difficult, just time consuming. 20,000 words on a php FAQ system (with some nifty bits) wasn't too difficult once it was broken down into sections - you'd be surprised. edit: infact it was meant to be 15,000 words.. but I didn't just carry on for the sake of it, it was all stuff that was relevant.

That ONE would happen to be an admin, not a mod. A justified warning in my opinion, if you want to chat about it take it up privately and PM either of us. back on topic..

On the most part everyones friendly and helpful. You get to hear about other peoples opinions which normally you wouldn't realise people had (I live a sheltered life). You can ask pretty much anything and someone will know the answer for it.

Waking up hungover to a forum you have spent solid weeks of your life working on making zero profit, pushing back all the money made into developing it for the community rather than keeping it for ourselves to be greeted by a bunch of inconsiderate unappreciative kids who choose to sit on here day in day out yet still winge and whine at every opportunity about how harsh everything is when all you want to do is just hit the ban button and get f**king rid of them, but you can't, because ironically, your too nice.

Exactly, thats the main reason. If you want to sell stuff, get validated. I'm validating people daily now (along with the other mods) so theres no excuses. Other reasons include the huge amount of moderating it took when they *were* allowed (every other topic was FS/WTD), and the fact its incredibly easy to scam people if they have no reputation on the forum.
