  3. Indian so you you can spend al night in the pub shiitng yourself.
  4. Not really toooo difficult once you get going. The scores really rack up after about 5 million, my best before 16 million was around 11, so it was a bit of a fluke
  5. 16 million about 6 years ago - when it came standard on NT but not on windows Used to be REALLY addicted.
  6. You'd think so wouldn't you..
  7. Yeah I'll have a bash. Haven't got much time in the next 2 weeks with glastonbury and work, but after that I'd be happy to make a few up for free. Oops my mistake. Pretty sure selectbikes use cubecart, and I assumed (should never assume!) because they look pretty similar it was the same thing - evidently not >_ PS: textpad ftmfw
  8. Hi Fred, Can you put these offers on your banner please and send it to me, I'll put it up there. We don't allow advertising directly on the forum. Thanks.
  9. Agreed, just random 'web 2.0' crap really, as I said took 20 mins. I wouldn't say they are instantly forgettable though, I doubt tarty/select/cleanbikes/etc paid £1000 for their logo's, infact I'd say alot of them are probably home made (no offence), yet I, and I imagine most people on here know them well. Sounds to me like you are talking about companies with large budgets who can afford to pay £1000+ for a logo. However there are also people who say 'I have a site called totally wifi and I want a logo for it and I will pay £20' and thats it. I'm guessing Urban Poet is someone in between, and I'm trying to give a realistic figure on what he *could* get for a lot less than people are suggesting.
  10. Here are a few logo's I've made, 2 of them got me £10/£20. Just did them for fun, each taking around 20 mins. So 3 weeks work I guess is for more serious places. Same for web design, a proper company will charge those rates. I'd charge a lot less personally as I don't work for a company. You'd probably be best off getting a free eccommerce script, eg cubecart, which is what I believe tartybikes and selectbikes use - I guess would take about 15 mins to install onto a server. Then its just a case of finding a niceish skin, adding your own logo and finally adding categories and products yourself and you're good to go.
  11. Spam.. EDIT, just to explain myself. At the time of this thread there were 2 other topics on phones on the front page. I don't think there is a need for a thread dedicated to phones with the amount they come up. With the number of 'thread threads' we already have it wont be long before there will be a thread thread for everything. Separate topics work fine, allow for easier searching and keep problems & answers more specific. Additionally, the first post in this topic (and second) do not help anyone, nor do they actually ask anything, hence I deemed it spam.
  12. Doesn't look too easy unless its on Vodaphone (you can just type a code in on that) - on 3 you need a cable and credits to log into a server that provides the code. One credit for the server is about £10 and I'd guess the cable costs around the same. £25 sounds quite reasonable really.

Woop, thats what I wanted to know Might put a link in peoples profiles to their wiki user page so people can do what they like with it without other members being able to edit it.

Can someone do me a favour and try to edit their own user page on the wiki, and then try to edit someone elses? You should only be able to edit your own.. hopefully. Wiki Mods should be able to edit anyones.
  15. Yeah mongol rally last year. Met a car full of people around our age driving along side us looking very happy and saying stuff in russian at us, but the chances of that being you is very, very slim haha. So corrupt in Russia its a bit mental, good if you've got the money to get yourself out of trouble though
  16. £3 - bit cheaper than the other example I gave. Should help.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-PCI-Solt-Exhaust...1QQcmdZViewItem
  17. Haha sounds familiar. Driving through Russia was sooooooo annoying. Police stops in and out of every town - madness! Drove past a police man waving his stick at us but we didn't notice so we drove straight past (nothing happened), so the guys behind us decided to have a go at not stopping for the next one. Didn't work, we got stopped (driving behind them) and had to endure 20 minutes of a fat russian guy shouting stuff we didn't understand at us. Got out of a $100 bribe/fine by acting dumb until he got so pissed off he just told us to (what we thought was) f*ck off. Then the car wouldn't start but thats another story. As for speed camera's - keep em, they're there for a reason.
  18. A guess 'cos I'm not good with graphics, but put another fan by your graphics card. http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/coo...vcool/index.htm
  19. 98 - 99.9p here Plus we live right next to a few huge refineries, makes no sense.
  20. Work for my mate doing gardening stuff - fencing, decking, patios etc. Good fun, beats sitting at a desk any day!
  21. Not enough considering the amount of hours of development we've put into the place, thats all your getting Either way I personally wouldn't want to sell up - specially if all they want it for is to plaster the place in adverts/ruin it, not until google want to take it over anyway
  22. That how much is your site worth is bollocks really. Its only worth what someone would actually pay for it. The last and only offer we had was way less (although a nice amount) but they just wanted it to stick adverts all over it. As for how much we get, on a good month just enough to cover costs and a little more as said. The extra will soon be spent on a server upgrade and it gives us a little financial security for when the money dries up a bit (winter).
