  1. Yep, an old version of daemon daemon347.zip
  2. Yes you can. Most laptops come with an s-video out port, which can go directly into a TV. PS no text talk. Its also possible to go back into new members... it has been done before.
  3. http://www.sophos.com/pressoffice/news/art...macosxleap.html looks like a mac virus to me.. 0 on mine. Well, as far as I know - it still works, I don't have a virus scanner so I'm just assuming really I'm careful with what I download, occasionally install a virus scanner, find nothing, then get rid of it again.
  4. Undo the back plate where you suspect the fan is (should be obvious-ish) I imagine its full of fluff.

Please stop using loads of exclamation marks after every line, I know its petty for me to say, but it really is annoying!!!!

  10. Whats the link you're trying to use? (without the tags)
  11. Dynamic image... it must be in a weird format with something going on behind the scenes. Save it in a different format (gif, jpeg, png are all good) and try again If not upload it to your gallery (click my albums at the top of any TF page) and upload there, it will give you a link to use in posts.
  12. Will make a full tutorial with screenshots tomorrow, bit tired now
  13. Buy cheap, buy twice. Advice for life that.
  14. Wiki extension is installed Working well it seems. Heres where to start off, I've already added a few locations to get it going. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/Locations If you want to add a new location, edit this page, then add the marker to the map (click in the right place) and add [[Placename]] into the comments. Then save the page, look at the map, click on the place you just added to make a new page, then click 'add a map', tis all pretty simple
  15. Ah right, well the thermostat doesn't seem to work, the engines always cool according it... Could that potentially solve all the problems? Really need a manual to find out where it is
  16. Good idea I'll get this extension installed on the wiki tomorrow - http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Google_Maps Looks like its perfect for the job and should make it a lot quicker to sort out.

    Is that not 4.26mb internet?
  19. We bought some oil today for it, the oil in there at the moment is black, which I don't think is right.. should be goldeny? So once we work out how to do it we'll give it a try haha, nah he's pretty deeply in love with his van He got it off ebay for £2000 + VAT. Ex royal mail about 3 years old, could probably find the guys username on ebay if you wanna check it out Seems pretty cheap to me! (maybe that expains the white smoke..) Tis definitely using up a lot of water... so we'll get some rad seal in it. He's already been using diesel additive of some kind, is that the same kinda thing as diesel clean? Or is it worth getting that too..
  20. Well said. Shall end it there.. Patience is a virtue
  21. Ok cheers, We'll keep an eye on the water level and see how much it's going down, and get some rad-weld in it. Hope its not the head-gasket 'cos that sounds expensive! Cheers, no idea what a compression gauge is though I guess thats one for the garage! I was kinda hoping someone would say 'ah yeah, white smoke.. change a fuse' Will report back with the water level.. thanks for the help so far
  22. Posts like this do not help http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=102107&hl= Total waste of time really.. I validate members daily, not sure about other mods but I suspect they do too. Members who are recently active get priority, if your posts are good then you get validated - simple as. I only look at the past 10 ish posts of each member (sometimes less, for example if a member only has 2 posts), and the validation system only shows up your last 50 posts. So even if you have 1000 crap posts under your belt, it only takes 10 decent ones to get validated. By the way, every time I go to validate members I probably look at the posts for each of around 100 of the most recently active pre members, so your odds of getting validated, providing your posts are good, are pretty high. PS read this http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3, particularly the bit about using descriptive topic titles..
  23. As in water? Well it seems to be going down yeah Problem is it didn't come with a manual, so we don't know where to fill it up to. Doom - that doesn't sound good! While I'm here, should we fill it up to the 'suspected' fill level when the engines hot or cold? If I remember correctly, the water rises when its hot... Also, should any water really be 'used'? Cos my old fiesta didn't ever really need to be topped up, until it boiled over in the middle of a desert that is.
  24. Haha, it is most definitely NOT a tubro diesel! Whatever the opposite of a turbo is, its that
