  6. DVD Shrink will shrink a full size DVD to any size you want, allowing you to burn it back onto a normal single layer DVDR. It wont allow you to convert it to mpeg/avi though.

  9. Mud Trot, quite boring. My mates is Lesbian One. ah we had fun with that..
  10. Why? Because thats what you get paid to do. Only way out of it is to work for yourself, you'll ask yourself the same kinda questions in any job working for someone else 'why should I make YOU money?' etc.
  11. No not really, but then again I don't really like any 'proper' shoes
  12. Just to confirm, and for future reference of this thread, tesco's do indeed sell shoes.

  15. (Your name has changed) PayPal system for what? I've never liked the idea of asking members for money or donations, not sure why really. But banners (usually) cover our costs. If you mean like subscriptions, like getting a star next to your name, extra PM space and stuff like that for £X a year then yeah we can set that up pretty easily - personally I'm not very interested in doing this, but if members want it then i could be persuaded

    Speaker!

Bang & Olufsen? You need an amp, connect speakers to the amp, connect amp to computer.

  18. Yeah working on it, I get loads of requests and I just process them all at once. Doing them 1 by 1 takes ages and is quite annoying.
  19. I work with a mate doing fencing decking and stuff. We're both registered as self employed. You'll both need to pay national insurance (about £2 a week) and declare tax on earnings at the end of the year. You can earn up to around £4500 without paying tax per year, anything over that its around £22 in every £100 that you earn (so put that aside). VAT you don't need to worry about, you just have to pay it yourself. Theres no getting stuff 'vat free' or anything - at the end of the day someone has to pay it (you). You'll need public liability insurance which is pretty cheap I think (around £200 per year). I don't think you NEED to register as a business with companies house - as long as you pay the government tax they're happy. So to start up - register as self employed and get some insurance, and start working. If you really want to go into a proper legal partnership, you will need to write up a partnership agreement, theres lots of examples on google.

  22. I used to think I had insomnia, for about 5 years. Couldn't sleep until 5/6am and woke up around 2/3pm. Now I have a 9-5ish job, turned out I was just lazy all along. Get up early, even if you feel tired - you'll feel awake after a shower. After a week or so of doing it your sleep pattern should be sorted and you'll be nackered by 12ish. If you mess up a day though (eg get up late or stay up too late) it can really throw stuff out of line.

  24. My gf did one for probiotics. Required filling out a form every day and taking a pill for 3 months, for £75 Wouldn't do it myself for that kinda money. Shes fine though and is £75 up I guess...
