http://www.huddletogether.com/forum/commen...iscussionID=124 easy fix.. ahem

Use the report button! Rather than bumping it to the top.

'Cos they're $150 a pop, plus $50 a year thereafter - if you're feeling generous... We bought the bmx-forum license aaaaaaages ago, before they upped the price.

Life must be hard I'm not against it totally, just raising points (that Chris has already mentioned) that need to be considered. Last time I made new subforums (Sites, Pics & Vids into Trials Media) everyone hated it.. generally people don't like change.

Should we have a computer subforum? Should we have a mini subforum? Should we have a happy subforum? Should we have an angry subforum? Should we have a mac subforum? Should we have a design subforum? Should we have a halfords subforum? ....

74 vids still waiting to be claimed Its nothing that special to be honest. In fact if, from the start, I'd just made it so I could copy files from other sites, rather than allowing members to upload from their own computer, then I'd have saved myself a lot of time. But that'd be a bit shite..

I've made it pretty easy for me to copy files over from other websites (but NOT youtube) If you'd like any videos transferred over but can't be arsed to reupload them, then let me know - they'll be uploaded under your own username too. Takes about 30 seconds to transfer a 60mb video. This is probably the first and last time I'll offer this publicly, but if in the future (once the thread has died) if you want it done just send me a PM.

Pretty standard actually. What codec do you use? Most of your videos seem to have a strange aspect ratio when uploaded, and all the others are fine. Cool vid by the way, usually I end up skipping bits, this one I watched from start to finish.

Oops missed this. What you said just seemed to contradict itself. If we are using up fossil fuels faster than they're being produced, then they will run out. I guess you could say that they're always being made, and always will be.. then they couldn't possibly run out, but they still wouldn't be able to keep up with demand. Quote have I got news for you "But as a daily mail reader, how will this affect the housing market?"

You are not immune from the warning system.. do not flame.

Ah right, gotcha. You'll need to look up some sort of javascript for that. Infact this looks pretty good - alistapart generally has nice code. http://www.alistapart.com/articles/imagegallery Example at the bottom. If you don't like the messyness of having separate pages for each thumbnail, then you might wanna look into using PHP. Really easy to pick up, worth looking into if you are semi-serious about web design.

What do you mean 'shell'? You just make a table like so <table> <tr> <td> <!--info here--> </td> <td> <!--info here--> </td> <td> <!--info here--> </td> </tr> </table>[/code] Get your images and make thumbnails using photoshop or whatever, save them as whatever, I'll use tn_image_name.jpeg format. Place thumbnails in table like so.. [code]<table> <tr> <td> <img src='tn_image_name1.jpeg' /> </td> <td> <img src='tn_image_name2.jpeg' /> </td> <td> <img src='tn_image_name3.jpeg' /> </td> </tr> </table> Now you need to make those images link to the big version of themselves, as so.. <table> <tr> <td> <a href='image_name1.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name1.jpeg' /></a> </td> <td> <a href='image_name2.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name2.jpeg' /></a> </td> <td> <a href='image_name3.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name3.jpeg' /></a> </td> </tr> </table>[/code] EDIT: ah ha, you want to use lightbox I guess (thats the special thing that tartybikes and trials-uk are using. Download the lightbox.js file from http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/ Include it in your header (thats between <head> and </head>) and add rel='lightbox' to each of the image tags - like so... [code]<html> <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="lightbox.js"></script> </head> <body> <table> <tr> <td> <a rel='lightbox' href='image_name1.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name1.jpeg' /></a> </td> <td> <a rel='lightbox' href='image_name2.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name2.jpeg' /></a> </td> <td> <a rel='lightbox' href='image_name3.jpeg'><img src='tn_image_name3.jpeg' /></a> </td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>

Yes and read my post. There is no point in having a thread of 100 replies of people speculating what happened. Adam has agreed with me to post a new news thread once it has all been sorted.

Of which precisely none are mine Who's responsible for the trials punks vids? I could be wrong but I think I used to host them when I ran tenby trials. My memory isn't good enough to remember exactly who it was though

Yep, I keep forgetting - might have another go at that tonight.

Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload (Let it play to the end of the video) 'Recomended' (infact at the moment they're just more videos from the same user) added to the end of video. Christ that took me about 8 hours in total, was pretty simple in the end. Soon i'll make it so it actually recommends similar videos, but that'll be the easy bit. By the way - will only work for new videos posted on the forum, unless you edit your post and re-paste in the BBcode.

Very true. Snorting is the only way to ingest it safely. RSQ's please.. (but not really sure if you would need ID, do you need ID to buy bleach and stuff? You might well already have some under the sink)

Used to windsurf many years ago. Every summer I keep telling myself I'll take the board out again, but never get round to it
