  1. Download 'wamp'. Install, right click the tray icon and 'put online'. Then you should be able to go to your IP and you're done. Wouldn't bother myself though. Its cheaper to buy hosting.
  2. Engine: Diesel Size: 1.9 Model: Seat Leon TDI FR. Driving Conditions: City+Motorways Combined MPG: err not sure what that means. But my overall avg mpg is 48. Motorways I would guess would average about 60-70mpg with just me in it. Rated MPG (manufacture) : 56? Cost me £65 to go to latitude and back, about 650-700 miles with 4 of us in the car and all our stuff.
  3. I was a vista disapprover for a good while, after a few months using it you'll find its alright. Paid £350 for mine, 2gb ram, 120gb hard drive, dual core something-or-other and 17" screen. Its 'refurbished'. That was at xmas time so you should be able to find something similar or better now for the same price. Keep an eye on hotdealsuk.com for dell laptops.. some good deals crop up every now and then.
  4. The way I read it was the copyright owners are saying 'yeah its ok, as long as we get to put adverts on the same page as it'. So I wouldn't worry..
  5. Do you mean you can only skip to a part of the video which has already downloaded? I need to set up streaming of some sort, then you'll be able to skip to wherever you want, whether its downloaded or not. So yep one day I'll sort it Once IPB V3 comes out the whole thing will get an overhaul.
  6. Sounds stupid but make sure your speakers are pugged in.
  7. Just an update, seemed like quite an appropriate place to put this. But I've worked out how to do high quality encodes on the server (like vimeo or youtube 'high quality' vids) - so sometime soon I'll convert trialstube to use this new method. I'll re-encode all the old videos and make them high quality too
  8. Your limewire is broken. You need to find out what is wrong and then fix it, Hope I helped, Tom.
  9. Do a search and click 'opt out' at the bottom.
  10. 500gb, pcworld, £59.99. http://hotukdeals.com/item/200875/computer...ital-500gb-my-/ (buy online, pick up in store)
  11. My brains a bit fudged but i'd say (in order of most laziness) you could - 1. Leave it as it is 2. Use html/ssi includes (does anyone use these any more?!) 3. Use something like wordpress and build your site using that 4. Learn php Option 2 is probably worth looking into - its easy and will probably let you do what you want. You might need to rename the page to .shtml on any page where you use server side includes.
  12. Yeah, why have you used flash? You can do that in CSS pretty easily (sure you realise that already though). Most other simple flash style effects can be done using a JS library, theres loads about. JQuery is nice, makes javascript easy. Next time you're thinking about spending 20 mins on flash, do yourself a favour and read this instead http://15daysofjquery.com/table-striping-made-easy/5/ very good example of how easy effects can be.
  13. Youtube Video ->Original Video This advert is summat that proppa gets on me tits Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  14. I think I'd probably hide and let them take what they want. Last time I was potentially in a fight I ran away, which looking back was most certainly a good decision.
  15. try run > cmd instead of command.com?
  16. It 'intelligently' picks up keywords off the page before it shows ads. If you have a page with onza written on it, it displays onza related ads. If you put tractor on it, it'll show tractor ads
  17. Excellent video, but best of the internet please..
  18. Please stop bumping. It comes across as pretty rude that people take the time to reply to you, yet all you have to say in return is 'bump' - its your thread, you need to put effort into it too. The one bump per 24 hour rule is for FS/WTD sections only.

True. Just for the record, domainmonster.com is the only one I've found to be any good which gives you full control over all aspects of your domain, including glue, a and mx records - and its as cheap as anywhere else.

Any will do really, before you start paying 'premium' prices they're all much the same. Just make sure you get your domain separately (from a domain registrar, eg domainmonster.com). Then buy your hosting. Then follow the instructions on how to link your domain to your hosting account. If you buy your domain from your hosting company there is a good chance that they'll steal it off you once your hosting runs out - so its best to register it yourself under your own name. Hostgator.com is the only one I can think of off the top of my head for hosting - its pretty cheap.
  21. To be honest it reminds me of a site that was 'trendy' 6 or 7 years ago
  22. Cheers, tis going well
  23. I spent about a week sorting my C.V and covering letter out. It paid off though as it was the only job I wanted and I got it (raising my job application success rate from 50% to 66%).
