I spend far too many hours working on this forum to try and make it better for unappreciative members like you.

I would say it 'works', a bit. Certainly not well, or damn well Reality is that 90% of new members are alright, its the remaining 10% we need to filter out and its unfair to punish that 90% before they've even posted on the forum. Creates a pretty hostile feeling environment from the start. Anyway, if you see a shit post from a new member, click the sin bin button and their post will be unapproved and they'll be sin binned -simple as that. So it's up to you guys to ensure the forum doesn't fill up with shit posts EDIT: the other good thing is that new members will be limited to only a few posts per day to start with, so its not like they'll be able to sign up and spam the shit out of the place before someone sin bins them.

Just to let you all know, at some point in the near future the New Members system will be scrapped and replaced with a 'Sin Bin' style system. This means: New members signing up will have full access to the forum*All current pre-members will be given full member status (apart from any who have previously recieved warnings)The New Members forum will closed and we'll attempt to move all the topics into the right places..A new 'Sin Bin' forum will be made.Experienced** members will be able to vote new members into the sin bin.Experienced** members will be able to vote new members back out of the sin bin. * but be limited to X posts per day. Once they have been a member for X days, they'll be made a full member and no longer be eligable for sin bin votes ** an experienced member just means a member who has been registered for more than X days and has more than X posts. I've been thinking about converting it over to an integrated system for aaaages but never got round to it. In fact, I thought it might be a good idea to try and build up a "Trials Manual", the wiki has most of the info, its just fairly confusing to find it as it is. What do people think of that? It'd be wiki style (anyone can edit), but seperated out into Chapters/Sections, eg: 1. Introduction to Bike Trials 2. Bikes a) Mod Stock c) 24 3. Riding a) Natural Street 4. Workshop a) how to fit a headset. brake setup ...... And so on. Maybe the option to download the whole lot as .pdf.

I'll fix all the skin issues you guys have raised as soon as I get the chance, its next on my list. Just need to find a couple of hours. I'll disable notifications by default later, but for the time being you can disable them in your control panel. They didn't work for me

Is the interest on the loan more than you'd have on a credit card? Can you get a credit card? I have no idea really, but I'd stop trying to avoid it as you'll just get in more shit. Moving the debt onto a credit card if possible, and paying off the interest on the credit card each month might be more manageable, if possible.

By request, I've created a new forum specifically for Club and Competition discussion. As part of the change and to help reduce confusion/overlap, I've renamed Rides & Locations to 'Member Organised Rides'. Check it out, just under trials chat Comments/suggestions welcome (especially if you can think of better names/descriptions). I'm in the process of slowly moving relevant topics into there from the other forums. If you own a club and want me to add a new topic prefix for you, get in touch.

You can manage your gallery albums here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=gallery Its up to you whether you want to delete stuff, with 1gb of space there should no longer be a need

I've upped everyones upload space from 20mb to 1gb. You can use this space to upload images (attached to posts) and in the gallery (uploading pictures and (coming soon) videos).

I've made it darker blue now and copied all the old new topic icons back onto this skin - better? Agreed, i've removed a lot now. My main aim is to remove the fluff and heaviness of the old skin, so I'll be slimming it down further Cheers for the feedback so far, keep it coming
