If you're wondering how much you should sell it for, then ask yourself what the minimum you would let it go for would be, and use that as your price.

Erm, difficult to answer really... it wont affect/effect using the forum at all, but no doubt there will be a select few who won't like it. As per It will be for the greater good though.

You could download the live CD, boot ubuntu straight off it (wont touch your windows install) Otherwise you should be able to download a ubuntu virtual machine image and run it in VMware on windows. edit: vmware ubuntu image: http://chrysaor.info...s&filter=Ubuntu - you'll need to open that in VMware player. Both much easier than partitioning your hard drive and dual booting

Back int' day there wasn't really such thing as a 26" trials bike. A small dual slalom frame was the best it got. You can do trials (albeit with a bit more difficulty than on modern bikes) on pretty much anything. I started on a 19" rockhopper My mate had an azonic ds1, seemed to serve him well. Any small frame, with preferably shortish chainstays and a highish bottom bracket should be alright.

I dont have time to reply to all the posts in here, the long and short of it is I think its working pretty bloody well. The sin bin system isn't in place. It was half implemented (hence the 6 members being in there) but after a few days of being without NMC I didn't see the influx of crap that I was expecting, in fact I was nicely suprised. We've certainly got a few new decent members, and its good that they're not pissed off by the time they get to access the full site. For a while we had a lot of spammers (note: not scammers) signing up, but I put some stuff in place and that appears to have calmed down now. Moderating time has gone down, reports have gone down, emails asking 'why cant i post' are non existent, visitor numbers have gone up. I do think we need a couple more mods to catch any 'edge cases'. Keiren, you say there is a load of spam, but I can't see it, nor can I see any reports in the report center from you If you do see spam, report it and it won't be long before it gets removed

I've installed an addon that checks all new registrations against the stopforumspam.com database. http://www.stopforumspam.com/daily Seems spammers are reported very regularly, so we'll see how it goes... (There are looooooads of reports of increased spam activity since Feb 2011 for lots of other forums, so we're not the only ones)
