This. I'm really unsure of (some of the things made by) Bose, I'm wary of anything thats advertised on QVC and in the back of magazines. Sure, it sounds good and 'rich' but you could say the same about a £100 set of logitech speakers. I have however been in a bar somewhere that had bose speakers dotted around the place which sounded amazing. I'm a big fan of my bowers & wilkins 602's, which reminds me, I should really set up my amp. For £450 I would buy a decent amp and some bookshelf speakers.

You could try a free app called juice defender. Basically it turns on and off features every X minutes (eg, turn wifi off from 11pm to 7am). I didn't have much luck with it but its worth a try.

You would be 'biting your nose off to spite your face'. Is it possible your manager was just having a really, really bad day? He sounds pretty stressed and I supect hates his job. I know that's no excuse to be a twat but stress/pressure can make people act in stupid ways. Not sticking up for him, but there may be 2 sides to the story. Have you been a 'model employee' or does he have other reasons that might make him behave in such a way?

Sounds good to me. Step one would be merging the two though. Working from there I could use the 'topic prefixes' thing that we're using in Clubs & Competitions for a while to give us a quick overview of what sort of things people are posting, and use that info to split the topics up into more sensible sections, rather than 2 (what may as well be) identical sections like we have now. I'll get on that some time

This thread was started when we didn't have the bike chat sub forum, now we have a specific forum feel free to start up separate threads with builds and photos rather than putting it all in just the one. I will do my best to go through and split up this topic into individual threads so people can continue to comment on your bikes, so if you can't find your post in here, try looking for a new thread

Lol. Thats the first time I've seen that thread.. I think my point is that there are threads in Beginners Trials Chat that should be in Trials Chat and vice versa, so you end up reading both forums anyway.

ha. I'd hand it in I think, I prefer spending money I've earned myself. Failed miserably at keeping my mouth shut on Friday when they barman didn't add my pint onto my food order bill, I don't think I'd fair well with £150k bearing down on my conscience.
