  2. http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/nano.ars/3 ^^ destroying an ipod nano by driving cars over it etc. Lasts pretty well considering people are worried about it getting scratched..
  3. I read it in the paper the other day. Theres a finance company or system or something already called G-Mail, and accounts in the UK are now @googlemail.com - old ones remain as gmail.com ;)
  4. Nah everyone loves blowing up stuff for fun. Had the police at my house once (few years ago now) cos they thought there was a gun fight going on.. or atleast the "6" neighbours who rang them thought there was :-
  5. Search google for anonymous proxies, then paste the IP into tools > internet options, connection tab, lan settings, use proxy box. Not all of them work and it might take a while to find one which does..
  6. I bet the aluminium they use in trials frames costs no more than a couple of quid..
  7. Apart from your ISP. Eitherway, hasnt generally bothered me in the past.. but there is a small chance you could get caught, wouldnt lose too much sleep over it though!
  8. Thing is though, when people post bike pics thread, theyre constantly bumped to the top of an otherwise useful forum with posts such as 'cool', 'nice bike m8', 'i dont like the bars' etc.. (something which can be posted in the gallery.. although saying that it is a bit shit at the moment but it'll have to do for the meantime) Leaving the post there and just closing the thread means (as mark said) they can still get their pics from there, secondly leaves a reminder to other users that bike pics should go in the bike pics thread.. and thirdly it stops us getting PMs going 'wheres my thread gone'..

Auto-Mod Please use the bike pic thread, all the info you need is in the first post.
  10. To be honest my memory is so bad I can hardly ever remember whos done what in the past.. Apologies for validation being a little slow at the moment, were currently having to validate people manually (me and danny from the admin control panel) and were waiting for the 'hack' to be updated so that mods can validate members too - bear with us..
  11. http://shop.o2.co.uk/student/o2uk/jsp/hand...ndset.do?menu=y Click pay and go phones, then the blue banner at the bottom of the page Keep checking there for decent phones... got a 3100 for a tenner, 6030 for £30 (still on there, says theyre £50 but when you add them itll say £30), 2x Motorola v547's (yesterday) for 14.99 each (were meant to be v200's but they got upgraded cos they ran out of them ^_^ Otherwise www.viking-direct.co.uk have 2600's for £30. Or.. Motorola C115 Carphone warehouse selling these at a silly price brand new on Orange PAYG £14.99 each when bought with £10 airtime.

Erm.... as bad as it sounds, you might wanna look at AOL.. they dont cap anything, and are pretty cheap. You can set up your modem to keep a constant connection so you dont need to use their crappy software to connect. Saying that, otherwise I do hate aol.
  14. Check out www.avforums.com - think there might be a special headphones section. Sennheiser are generally the best.
  15. You need to take it to a phone shop, preferably an independant one, or a dodgy guy at a market/car boot sale/wherever (the places that sell phone covers and stuff) and get it unlocked by them.. should be about a fiver.
  16. type in *#06# (on your phone)
  17. Have you tried using another instant messenger program that lets you log into MSN? Try jabber or GAIM :S (not sure if GAIM is available for windows but worth a look)
  18. Yeah. I did one, 10x 1 hour lessons in one week, test on the last day. Passed first time, totalled my car and the one I crashed into 8 days later - not cool. Id say go for it, as long as you dont drive like a nob after, like I did - learnt my lesson the hard way.
  19. This thread justs gets funnier and funnier (N) Better than Neighbours.
  20. Tumble dry them? Usually works for shrinking my clothes, unintentionally..
  21. dbpoweramp should do it - google it (N)
