All amps are.. its arguable whether bi wiring makes that much difference though.. Just for the record I realise wiring up a sub like that is a bodge (and since I got new speakers I dont use it any more anyway), but if you dont have a line out for a sub then theres no other way (even though my amp does it doesnt seem to work )
-
Yeah it is, but if you get the right bookshelf speakers you shouldnt need a sub.. Heres how mine works (theres also a phono style cable which you can use to plug it in, however it doesnt seem to do anything) [attachmentid=2569] EDIT: the think black lines would be speaker cables..

Superb. I think ours is a 957... but it could be a 997 (im not sure, I used to think it was a 997 then my dad mentions 957 - god knows... eitherway its under 1000cc ) How much is a weber carb then? Already got a roof rack sorted - £20 from halfords in the summer for getting the wind surfers down the beach 5 door would be ideal but the one we have is only 3 im sure we'll cope though. Thought I read on t'internet that 5 doors only came about on the mk3, and mk3 ones all had 1000cc+ engines? Ta for the advice - much appreciated Andy and tic, see you in russia. I'll have a vodka waiting for you, as obviously we'll be the car in front all the way. haha. (unlikely)

Wahey, this year?! That'd be most awesome. We've finally decided on this - [attachmentid=2557] What I believe to be one of the rare MK2 fiesta's with a 958cc MK1 engine inside. My parents bought it when it was new (used to get driven to play school in it ) and its only just escaped the scrap yard for the past couple of years - so what better way to send it off than to drive it to mongolia and give it to a farmer. Now none of us have any mechanical knowledge at all (but who needs knowledge when you have a haynes manual...) - so can any one let us know how to make the suspension stiffer? With 4 people in it it occasionally drags along the floor when you go over a bump - does anyone know how to raise the suspension, or if its possible to get higher suspension which wont f*ck up the handling? We're at a loss so any suggestions welcome

When they first came out everyone on a different forum i'm on was getting them from yesasia.com - much cheaper than in the UK. If you get one from there and you have to pay import tax, email yesasia and they'll credit your account with however much extra you had to pay.
-
My mate and his dad have both had it done, lasts about 25 years apparently. You dont need to wear glasses for anything like driving afterwards. They laser off a slice of the front of your eye and then they get a pair of tweezers and peel it off. Both blinding successes. EDIT: you prescription cant have changed for a year or so either, the longer the better for obvious reasons.

Theres only 70 days (max) 'retention' on usenet usually... IE if someone uploads a file, the news hosts will only host it for 70 days before it gets deleted. So its only really good for new stuff, although people do re-post old stuff too. I only ever get new movies apps and albums anyway.. and manage to do the daily 5gb limit in about 2 or 3 hours at uni (while i'm at lectures) so its worth it for me What are you looking for anyway?
-
Thats 1.5ltr... we need something under 1000cc

1) for fun, and to raise money for charity 2) 22nd july for 3 - 4 weeks 3) nope 4) Yes, but you will need your own car and ideally one other person to come along with you. Ta for the responses, were looking at a polo at the moment for £450. Id personally like to go in a mini estate cos it'd be nice and roomy and pretty fun to drive (and ive always wanted one). We really need something easily fix/bodgeable so the older/more reliable the better Im guessing - none of us have ever done mechanics further than putting bikes together. http://www.mongolrally.co.uk

You could get one of these to plug into the end of the scart lead coming out of the NTL box - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Female-21-Pin-Scart-...1QQcmdZViewItem And one of these to plug into that - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Gold-Plated-SCART-AD...1QQcmdZViewItem Which you could then plug into that VGA converter... or into a TV/Graphics card with Svideo in. Although I dont know much about that... that should get you started anyway.
-
Serious question, any ideas? Needs to be pretty cheap, ie less than £1000 really, easy and cheap to fix.

Ok, newzbin only lets you download NZB files to make it easier to download stuff... you dont really need an account there to download stuff off newsgroups, it just makes things MUCH simpler. You need a news group provider once you have an account on newzbin. Your ISP might provide access to newgroups for free (like noz is doing) but they might not provide access to every news group there is. so instead you can use a specialist newsgroup provider which will let you download anything - Im using newsgroupdirect.com $16/month = 5gb per day (the one i have) $13/month = 3gb per day $9/month = 1gb per day Ok. so now you have access to newsgroups, and you have access to the NZB files to download the stuff from the newsgroups. Now you need to download newsleecher (google it) which will actually do the downloading for you - you will get a 15 day free trial. (download a full version using it once its all set up ) Soooooooo once you have acess to newgroups (newsgroup direct) and newsleecher installed and set up, you just click on a link on newzbin, newsleecher will open up and start downloading for you.

An acoustic guitar.. I cannot play guitar

For battery life look at sonys, mine has 40 hours.. which means even when it looks like its just about to go dead theres still a good 5 hours left. They're also replaceable batteries unlike the ones in ipods, and going by my past experiences with sony they will probably replace the battery, and refurbish the player while theyre at it, for free EDIT: by yeah that was pretty random, dunno anything about the ipod videos

If mark tries to change it it'll just go back to the bird, its a bug in the software. We've ask invision about it and they cant work it out

This is not a review, its a product description. If you ever have a proper review then feel free to post it, otherwise leave adverts off the forum.
-
My guess would be it wasnt his sole decision to make this post. ALL brake pad reviews to go into the pad review thread from now on, and don't bother if you havent been riding them 6 weeks +, same goes for all reviews, had enough of seeing these bias, round a bout way of advertising threads. If your reviewing products for a company you are 'sponsored' by (see MrsMonkeys sig), dont bother. Post impartial reviews only.

That still wont work... google it please, host wont be very happy if this kind of thing becomes common on here.

Get a flip phone with no screen/small screen on the front? That should help. Just happen to be selling one actually (wouldnt really reccomend mine though, otherwise i wouldnt be selling it )
