Finish exams friday, have a week of celebrations. Go home, spend next 7 weeks going to the beach, skim boarding and climbing and general lazing about, and fixing up my car. Then drive said car to mongolia which should take 4 weeks, then go travelling somewhere after - that bits not decided yet. Going to be a good summer

I'm on PAYG.. As long as you top up £10 per month you get 300 free texts per month. Every 3 months you get back 10% of whatever you have topped up in the previous 3 months (gets added to your credit). Theres also other bits and pieces like free 1mb WAP transfer (handy for downloading games) - but you can choose. Theres so many options I lose track. If you dont chat that much, as you say, and mainly text.. why not just buy a decent phone off ebay and put in a free o2 sim? Got my mate to do that in the end, now he tops up about £15 a month for calls, uses the free texts, whereas his contract used to be £30 a month and he was tied into it for a year at a time. Can't really see the benefit of having a contract unless you use your mobile loads, apart from having the free flashy phone. Cheaper IMO though to splash out £100 on a decent phone and go on PAYG. By the way I have a nokia 6030, which was £30, also from o2. Coverage is good, customer service is appauling, but if you go on PAYG I doubt you'll ever need to phone them unless you get your phone stolen or something.

Out of interest what are those experiences? I assume you've had a fair few experiences, enough to justify your opinion anyway.

Have you tried putting it back to before you had the router? If you do that does your download speed go back to normal? Obviously, if it does we know its a problem with the router then...

So if a 1:3 is 33%.. and 1:4 is 25% (like the one here), thats quite a huge difference in %age. I'd like to see that too, the 25% one just seems ridiculous, let alone 33%

Yeah that'd be the one. Got drunk one night actually and went for a spin on my bike (for one reason or another, mainly drunken pissed offness involving a female) and ended up riding down there. Massivly underestimated the steepness of it and ended up flying out of the junction at the bottom, thought my brakes would work fine as it wasnt raining, but didnt realise the mist had soaked the rim. Luckily no cars were about at that time.. silly idea.. sobered me up pretty quick.

I did 41 on my trials bike down a hill before it started wobbling uncontrollably. I'd like to try the 25% incline hill we have here, but it only lasts for about 100 metres and has a blind junction at the bottom. Edit: posted that while tomm was posting, I guess thats a 1:4 hill. Ive seen many cars stall in first gear before getting to the top of it.
