  1. There good bikes but the ones in those shops you posted are very expensive for the spec of them. A grands worth of bike should be coming with a better fork than a Tora!?
  2. Woah! Sounds like you may need a bleed there?! Where did you get them from? I know some places build them up out of kits (shimano brakes are the only ones that come like this) and perhaps they went bled properly?
  3. My friend and I both get it bad on the moto (trials) bikes. He drinks a lot of tonic water through the trial, and swears by it. I've been off the bike for a while and this weekend is a big trial, gona be a killer! I've brought tonic water in
  4. Click and read this. It will do a much better job of explaining it than I can.
  5. Real men use 203mm Front + Rear
  6. Ive got those like I said. So easy to bleed/ swap pads and maintain ect. Good choice!
  7. Personally, I'd go for a shimano. You can get a set of deore's for that sort of Price. They way not be as powerfull as some Of the others around, but there about as complicated as a magura, and parts are easy to find. My mate has the old deore brakes which are good, but the new ones (servo wave lever) are much better (i have the slx version), and I believe they won the last MBUK brake test for value.
  8. Matthew, Im not sure if this is of any interest to you, but my best mate is selling his Specialized Enduro frame. Its an 06 and comes with a 5th element shock. Last time I checked he was after £250 for it?
  9. Looked at the new Mondraker's Tomm? Seam very well kitted out bikes and frames at the moment.
  10. I need a bike like this in my life! Ahh the 90's Love it!
  11. Trail and DH MTB. Coarse fishing ( I work in a tackle shop so free gear!). Moto trials too, although haven't ridden in a while due to work and A-levels.
  12. The dirt jams where also known As dirt jumper 4's. I was under the impression they where turd.
  13. I can vouch for Nick. I almost brought those forks for my trail bike but needed longer travel. The Manitou Elite Air cartridge was duff from the word go in a huge batch of them. I believe the best thing for them was to have them swapped to coil. Which again if im correct Nick had done through Mojo Tuning on warranty.
  14. Reccomend ordering a size up? I have silly wide feet :$
  15. Sweet. Sorry for the random question. I just love the efficiency of spd's but the shoes I have where given to me and are too tight. If I'm stood up for any length of time they killy feet. Going to try some 661 filters or shimano am66s then if I still don't get on with them I can use them on flats.
  16. Lovely bike. Random question, but how do you find aggressive riding with spd's?
  17. 110 would be fine. You can alter the travel internally any way.
  18. Marzoccchi went through a really shit phase. 2006 where some of the best forks they made. I had some 2005 dj3s and they where brilliant. If you can afford it look at rockshox argyles.
  19. Marzocchi Dirt Jumper range. Pre 06 if you want them to work well.
  20. Love Knut His style reminds me of a faster version of Stan Shaw?
  21. Truly amazing driving. Has to be said!
  22. Personally if i was to run one then yes. I doubt id ever feel any difference between black chilli go for it. Others would say differnt, but i say go for it
  23. The £17 one will be the non black chilli version. Less grippy, slightly heavier, but same carcass.
  24. Looks nice. Out of interest, what are the swampthings like on the rear?
