yea thought so. The trialtech race will probably be the one. Although it runs on open bearings. I cant decide wether it would be good or bad. My echo freehub runs on sealed bearings and there expensive to replace and dont last too long.... I can see the pro's and con's of each.

any one got any advice on hubs?

my echo free hub has now skipped 5times in the last hour. It seams the harder i push it the more it wants to give up on me. My question is am i better off with a ffw and fixed hub combo? I would be on a strict budget, so i have been looking at the trialtech race on tarty. Any one tried these, and are they any good? Also id need a ffw to go with it. My wallet tells me to go for an ACS Claw but i have heard horror storys about them. What would be a good budget free wheel? Is it also a sensible idea for me to get one second hand? If i do this i will probably lace the wheel up myself. I have never tried it before, so is it wise i attempt it? Im fairly confident with mechanics ect. Cheers fir help, Max

Like above really. When you get onto the back wheel try to do as few hops as possible to keep things calm. The secrets are all in the preload.

Where are they sold for £160? They have a 6 month warrenty too so should be fine for loads after that.

Could you post how this was done? would be really intrested in doing this to mine....
