  5. i used a heat gun to dry the primer on my frame. Worked a treat.
  6. hmm going to have another go. i gave up when the pads started poping haha
  7. well i have heated the pads and rotor to buggery, sanded the pads down, cleaned the rotor woth solvent. and still gash. Im not worried about the pads as i dont mind replacing, but i want the rotor properly clean otherwise there is no point in me getting new pads. Any other suggestions? max
  8. Cheers man I think i will try some nail varnish remover as someone said. Will most likely have to replace the pads but i will try to evaporate the fluid off them. Thanks
  9. I know this has been coverd many times but i cant decide what would be the best route of action. Basicly i gave the hope a service yesterday, and got the tinyest bit of fluid on the pads. Both the pads and rotor where near new so if i could at least salvage the rotor i will be happy. Ive tried white spirit but that was rubbish. Any ideas people? max

    whats the song?
  11. I would recomend a Continental mountain king 2.2. I have the 2.4 versions on my mountain bike and there more like a 2.5 so i presume the 2.2 would be like a 2.3 should have enough clearance in your frame and be super grippy and even grippy'er if your a millionare and can get the black chili compound..... max
  12. Cheers for the comments guys. Viz! 720 bars in white and white graphics should be on soon. That will change it a load. To be honnest you need to see it in the flesh to appreciate it properly. thanks max
  13. You know the answer dale! Im really glad people actually like it, i thought it was going to look wank a lot of effort went into this frame and im really pleased with the product
  14. Went through with it and sprayed my frame last week. Just got it built up. It is actually metalic, but its hard to pick it out with my shitty camera. Ive also got some custom graphics being made for me, and there in the post. Comments would be nice good or bad. max
  15. There put in using a press, just like the steering pin from tripple clamps on motorbikes. Send it away like said and get it done as it needs a press to do it. max
  16. Thats weird. Is the axel on the echo free hub a larger diameter than normal in that case? If im really carefull i should be able to take a few mm off my axel? max
  17. To be fair there is no reason for the bike to devaluate really. just make sure its a good job thats done. Im doing mine
  18. Yea i see where your coming from, but if i could get snail cams that had a large enough diameter hole to take the axel it would work as the echo hub has spacers between the hub body and frame with a few mm spare. I supose to accomodate snail cams...
  19. hmmm yea. The 221pr in the for sale forum has them on the inside. im wondering if i need a larger diameter hole in my snail cam to fit over the axel a tiny bit. max
  20. You need to put the two rear bolts in first, about 3 turns each. And then bend the plate do you can put the top bolt in Make sure you have a rubber between the frame!
