  1. the sram pc951 was what i had before and i had no problems with it. The only reason i need a new one is i smashed my mech and cut it to run single speed for the day. I was also looking at the new deore, as i had one on my bike for 4 years and never had a problem. Thing is now im starting to do a lot of free ride, the slx looks the better mech.
  2. cheers mate. Is a sram cassette compatable with shimano mechs?
  3. basicly, i need to rebuild my drivetrain and can people recommend me a rear mech chain and cassette? All needs to be good stuff but not to expensive. So far i am looking at either an slx or xt mech as i need shimano. Cassette is looking like a deore h61 and im unsure about a chain yet. Please help. Max
  4. wack it in an mtb and do some road miles on it, to bed it in properly.
  5. I honestly didnt think you could get much better than the first part of the goodwood vs dougie. That was phenominal! The poor evo in the pool Edit: all is good it was a mountain bike! haha
  6. Please, if you do only one modification to it in the future. Get some bigger risers.
  7. Jesus christ! mines hardley streched, never broken one.
  8. trialtech lite chain on tarty (kmc something or other) never looked back.
  9. i see what your saying. I think really i would just get pro 2s if i ever get round to it. There not to expensive on ebay, and there tried and tested at the end of the day. Max
  10. hmm yea i spose. I was just thinking that dropping off a 6ft wall on a trials bike, isnt going to be much different to doing a ladder drop with susp?
  11. as the title really. Just interested as my current hubs are fecked, and my forks dont have a bolt through axel. So would a sealed bearing trials hub stand up to girly free ride? Not talking fancy, just cheap and strong. Max
  12. Im sorry alex, but that eas probably the best video you have ever produced! It was lush, really enjoyed it. Made me desperate to ride Dartmoor, Liskerd, and St Ives! Ride very soon big man
  13. Looks lush man! only thing i would change is the front tyre (but that is just personal prefernce)
  14. shit sorry nick and co. I tried to let you all know as soon as i knew i couldnt go. My sister got really shity about me ridding on mothers day. Sorry big time lads. A date soon that would work for you for a ride?
  15. i have to give you that one. Haha
  16. Words cannot describe the erection i have now :$
  17. Rear minnion, rubber queen, Der kieser, or High roller. The high roller im running on the back is great. Wasnt to bouncy so i cut every other knobble off and its now very bouncy. I know others that have run all thease tyres and they all perform better with knobbels cut off. I used to run a rear mountain king and it performed amazingly, but was far too thin and pinch flats happened about 6 times a ride. I now run a front mountain king 2.2 and its so god damn light its unbelievable. very good on the front. I know its not really your question, but just my six eggs in the basket
  18. its interesting, looks like a mod front end set up on a stock.
  19. out of interest, is a valid ACU cycle trials licence required? I have a plain trials rider licence (moto) would that cover me in events such as this? max
  20. been caught for mothers day duty, sorry lads, ride soon
