What are your experiences with heatsink reds on a smooth? Not sure if i want to grind the front rim yet but is it a waste of time running them on a smooth?

Well looking at all the tyre measurements on a "well known cycle trials website", the rain king is 55mm deep and the High roller ( of which im running now) is 56mm and the same width (60mm). I always thought the rain kings where huge? So i should be able to fit into a HIFI frame? max

Does anyone know the size of chain stay you would need to run one of thease? Pretty sure mine is 375mm and a rubber queen wont fit. Would either of thease fit?

Right, Ive taken both seals off and sanded down till the piston slides in the bore happily. There is still room to take it a tad more but ive left it for the moment. Now when i put the o-ring onto the piston its far to tight? Now what?

In all fairness it is the piston that wont go in. so i will try that this morning.. cheers guys.

tried to but i dont understand how a perfectly good magura can go gay like that?

trying to fix a mates magura, (04 style) and the symptoms are lazy pistons. On closer inspection it was in fact the master cylender piston that was stuck. Now after removing and cleaning the piston wont go back into the bore. After a phone call to tarty apparently the pistons can swell slightly when out of the bore. so i have tried the working piston out of an old brake of mine and that went in, all beit rather tightly. Now ive come back to it it is insanely tight much like the original. 2 pistons swelled or is it a fecked lever body? max

There is no way you can run snail cams, as it is vertical dropouts. They only work with horizontal drop outs. Nothing wrond with a sprung tensioner.....

Tom, how hard are Pikes to service? Might have a clean of mine im used to moto forks but not tried delecate mtb forks yet. Special oil? Any special tools? dont supose you could give a few hints how to drop the lowers out? Sorry for hijacking max
