Oright, Here it is And this is before, when it had Vee's, i'm uploading this picture simply because it seems to be law to have a picture of your trials bike in your kitchen.
This is quite a common topic but I noticed theres none on the NMC right now. I'm wanting to get new pads for my HS33's but i'm not too sure yet. I'm riding smooth rims front and rear and i'm keeping it smooth. I'm not going to bother with grinds. I have tar which I can use aswell. Anyway suggestions? Right now i'm wanting Heatsink Snowy's Anyone had any expierences with them? Cheers
Well, I am running a smooth rim and am probably going to keep it like that. Do you still think they would be good? If not, would I be able to buy other pads and put them into Phatpad backings? Do they sell the backings seperately? Thanks
I'm wanting new pads and i'm torn between getting Metal CNC'd Aluminium backings or plastic backings. I've heard that CNC'd brake alot better ad don't flex as much and that plastic backings can snap. But also apparently metal backings can crack and snap your pistons. Cheers
I have Magura Royal Blood in mine and it's ok but my friends who have water bleeds, their brakes feel alot nicer and are quicker. Water with a wee bit of anti-freeze is good. An advantage with the fluid though is that you don't need to re-bleed it regularly because it doesn't absorb water. All down to preference and opinion really.
Wow! If that vid was just from two weeks into riding! Your a very quick improver. Riding with Tom and Danny is probably a goodway to get better! Keep it up.
Hey, just wanting to know what sort of stuff you guys can do. I've not been riding long and am still trying to get my techniques sorted out. Bike: Mod or Stock: Biggest Sidehop: Bigget Flat to Flat gap: Biggest Drop: Biggest Drop Gap: Any others: Cheers
