f**k, so how hard are you meant to tighten it?! Because I thought bleed bolts were meant to be tight....

Hey guys. The other day I decided to bleed my brake with water just after I had come in from riding. I had just been out so there waws obviously no leaks or cracks. Once the brake was off, I tried bleeding it. It didn't work the first few times (My first ever attempt at a bleed) and then when it seemed alright, I noticed that once I had been pulling the lever a bit more air was appearing in the system. So I checked it and saw a crack in the lever. The crack is right above where the bleed screw goes in and the water leaks out of it. I was wasn't sure how it cracked because I don't remember dropping it or anything so I am wondering... Is it possible for a lever to crack from overtightening the bleed bolt?! That's the only explanation I can think of... Unless I hit it of something. Cheers in advance guys.

I have never been on a bike with SL's on it but I have heard some bad reviews. I think you should stick with Magura's. They're cheaper. And more widely used by pro's aswell so you know they're good enough!

My rubber on mine managed to fall out somehow. So I tried to take the bashplate off so I could put the rubber in place then put the plate back on. And when I was unscrewing the bolts. When I came to do the one at the top. (The one near the hog) It won't budge. It does seem to be sitting a little squint. Do you know what to do or should I just try my hardest to loosen it?
