I don't know shit about freehubs, but all I have heard about the Deng freehubs is that they are shit. They use glue on the ratchets or something and they always come loose after a bit of riding. And it's unfixable

Fresh water bleed, Heatsink Snowies in CNC'd backings, Trialtech Sport 2-bolt booster, Echo anodised rim in black, keep it smooth, set up perfectely square and you will have the BEST back brake EVER! No joke. Only in the dry that is. And I put the rim colour in black in bold because I find with the anodised rims, it always works the best and lasts sooo much longer. The coloured rims anodising is usually gone by the end of the first week.

Get a front vee. Your halfway there by having an Avid SD7 lever. Seriously. Best front brake EVER! but... If you really wanna stay front disc like a gay boy, you could try getting new pads and also, I heard someone say before to put loads and loads of mud on your rotor and ride with it. Not sure how much it works but it's worth a shot. Also, maybe a bleed?

Discs are gash man. Get front rim brake anyday. Maggies are great but I find vee's are the ultimate front brake.
