  3. well, anyone that knows me knows that i don't use stuff that isn't up to scratch. Also trying to help the guy out, as koxx forks are very over priced. I've had a few sets of urbans, 2 of which i cracked but have new ones on the limey under warranty.
  4. How about the new meta forks? Same quality if not better and a fair bit cheaper.
  5. looks ace dude, very nice job. So light aswell, nice one!
  6. nice pics Jon, have to meet up for a ride soon!
  7. It's on it's way from Canada, all the reviews i've read have rated it highly, has been tested by some of the worlds top riders too (cousts/tra etc). Alot of company's just design a frame, produce it and sell it without much rider input/feedback and harsh testing. This has been tested for a very long time and has not only show it rides amazingly but it's also solid, so can put up with both comp/natural and street. I'll have a vid out very soon after i've received it and also some pics and a review etc -Hugh
  8. hey guy's I'm really please to announce that i have now signed a deal to ride for the Meta bikes factory for 2008. This is a great opportunity for me and i would like to thank Jon and Dimitri at Meta bikes for their help and effort that has gone into sorting this out for me. I'll be riding their 26" vtt bike and i hope to really progress my riding on this. Take a look at www.metabike.com for their ever expanding range of products, which are available here in the UK through tartybikes and trials-uk. Also check out my website www.hughbarker.co.uk for more updates etc (pics of me on the new vtt 26" will soon be added, also a video). Thanks-Hugh

  20. agreed, it did take some abuse though!
  21. Anyone riding Kent this week? Maybe toad/wellington rocks in Tonbridge? thanks-Hugh
  22. They weight 2kg as far as i know but you can get them lighter if you run internal cable routing and get a dremel on headtube etc but not worth it to be honest. Second hand you can pick them up for £150 ish but there arent many about. You could get new one from supercycles/onza on ebay for a good price if you take a look. cheers-hugh
  23. limey 2 dude! The new one is solid as a rock. 1085 wheelbase but one of the longest reach frames. I'm 6ft and it's comfy for me, maybe even more for a slightly taller person. around a +10mm bb but anything much higher and it doesn't tap too nice.
  24. ace pics guy's, great riding and great spot, really like the new bikes too!
