  1. I have got the hope mono trial but i was just servicing my bike and some how some oil has dripped down from the steerer tube, (i was lubricating a rusty star cross nut thingy) It's gone on the disk and i didnt notice then i have ridden along but no power. If i get some disk brake cleaner can i just spray it on the disk and pads then it will be back to normal, or do i have to sand pads down with sand paper etc then bed it in again???? -Hugh
  2. I have just got my mono trial today. i would ratehr have less lever movement untill it bites too but i have just ajusted it untiol it's at the maximum i can reach. it feels fine now you just have to get used to it :turned: -Hugh
  3. I have to admit i do like ribos but i dont want to go and spend £90 on a pair of trials shoes then go and rip them. the monty shoes have always been great quality and last me until i grow out of them or wear them so much the soles wear out. -Hugh
  4. To be honest i ahve seen alot of Ribo's falling apart or ripped. I would say the best soles to have are the davos style, have you considered the new monty shoes coming out next week? They seem really good and very quick to put on unlike other riding shoes. Take a look at the news section on the cleanbikes web page:Here
  5. We all know why scott doesnt like french observers, maybe something to do with a dodgy observing decision over weather or not he went round a marker :P" lol
  6. We are coming up on the saturday and staying at the travel lodge near addingham. But we will have to leave there at 8:00am :P other travel lodge nearer was fully booked :S -Hugh
  7. They wont mind someone carrying your bag but you must carry your own bike. Your on a monty now anyway so you would be fine at the worlds they love monty riders :)" . I'll see you all at Brimham :turned: -Hugh

    Bt Video 2

yeah he rides natural with me whole time m8. Basically were mainly comp riders. -Hugh
  9. I was at the worlds last year to. he has standard try-all silver rims but his dad files out each hole to make them square. i should think he does crack the rims because he had new wheels built up for each trial. -Hugh
  10. Any one know if i can run my magura marta disk with a hope mono trial? (are they the same size etc). This is because i cant get my front disk of my monty hud, the bolts seem to be seized in any tips for getting it off? -Hugh
  11. To be honest i would just buy a set of koxx reverse mount forks, these make your brake amzinglypowerful. Thats just my opinion. It also seems alot of effort to braze them on when things could go wrong in the future and cause you more problems. -Hugh

    Bt Video 2

Oh my god that was Fekin awesome. Not surprised he rides for BT. Some great footage there showing just how big everything really is, unlike alot of vid's today. -Hugh

    New Pedals

It seems to me that monty single cage vp pedals are absolutely solid and can take so much abuse, far stronger than koxx, onza vp pedals and not too pricey. i'll alwyas stick with them. -Hugh
  14. I saw one of the coustellier bro's tap the back of the low loader trailer at the bikeshow. Not sure how big that is but he did it for his warm up!
  15. I'm after a new front rim for my monty but it needs to have a rise in it like the original monty's rims so i can run the ti spokes. Whats avaliable? -Hugh
  16. I have the koxx blue (medium) brake pads. Stuck em in the bike, set them up properely and i've given them about a 1/2 hour ride in my back garden.Tthey dont seem very grabby just a swosh noise.I have a medium grind. Does anyone know if they will go grabby with time or is this as good as they get? -Hugh

Just found that koxx now have a nice un-annoying site to look around. pretty good basic design i think. Link
  18. Does anyone know who does those Pitbull Replica frames if thats right. just after something simular really. -Hugh
  19. If all goes to plan i should nbe riding (Y) -Hugh
  20. Hi everyone. I have noticed many riders opting to gop back to the old style magura lever because it provides a stiffer more solid feel. Is it oright to bleed the brakes with distilled water or should i use the mineral oil? Also what are your thoughts on the new magura lever? -Hugh
  21. when i was at the worlds with you aust i didnt know if they were a different make or monty's sprayed black??? -Hugh
  22. Anyone know what rims danny comas and cesar use ( the black ones). I have a set of silver try-all rims but they dont build up properely with the ti spokes. cheers-Hugh
  23. Wicked vid Chris well worth the download. Some great riding there :ermm: -Hugh
  24. yep dont listen to anyone saying that try-all are not grippy. They are probably the grippiest tyres out there just not as much bounce as a maxxis but lets be honest benito has no problem finding bounce in them :o -Hugh
  25. As a complete natural rider i have tried both. I found the maxxis not so grippy but far more bouncy (grippy enough) and the try-all are super grippy but not very bouncy atall. The maxxis also role alot better than the try-all. U decide :o -Hugh
