  1. i dress like him? I wear tracksuit trousers to ride in and always have, along with the other thousands of trials riders around, i wear ribo's because there the best shoe i my opinion, and everything else i wear is just my casual stuff i like to ride in. Only thing the same on our bikes is the frame and the colour of the rims (not even the same rims) and maybe a couple of general parts like brakes and maybe a few onza bits! Get it right. Have you ever seen me ride, so how do you know my style of riding, i would say my style is pretty different to anyones!
  2. why do you say that? Sorry i wont buy a limey or ribo's because Dan uses them, i got the frame because i got a good deal nd i have always liked limey's and i got the shoes because had you seen my old ones you would see they had holes in and i couldn't get any in this country made of the tougher suede style material so i had to ask the Coust's dad and thats what he had in my size. EDIT:i wont be riding a limey 2 for much longer anyhow, thanks to trident bikes.
  3. a mate of mie who i rode motorbike trials with h still got the same style monty as that except its blue with purple/blue rims. Think it's one of the models on biketrial-spain. -Hugh
  4. sorry but thats what i was told and i have had about 5 sets of spokes off them! They have always been 3x when i have had them unless asked otherwise.
  5. tarty's always supply spokes to be laced 3x.
  6. Dont get either dude, the try-all's are crap as i wore a pair out in no time and ive heard bad things about the voz shoes. Ribo's for the win, best shoe avaliable.
  7. no no, keepin it mint for sellage, i ride uci anyway, u know i'm not a basher lol

    My Adamant

It's finally done dude! and looking swish too, have to come for a ride again soon, looks like your bike might be working aswell! hehe
  9. Hey guys, ad a little ride today at my local park just to wear my shoes in. Gf got a few pics, nowt amazing but then there isnt that much to ride, anyways, here you go: Edit: first gap isnt that big but...the take off and landing were like ice, soo slippy lol, scroll down for more.
  10. i seem to remember dmr doing one aswell, a couple of friend's used to run them on their bike and they just constantly came lose because of the back and forth forces! They tried threadlock and that didnt work, you could maybe do some spot welds on it? -Hugh
  11. ooo looks very nice, wonder hat the geo is? I hope they do one in scotchbrite, not too keen on the gold.
  12. hehe craig, it looks sooooo trick now, i want some of those forks! Dont think funds will allow just yet hehe. Ride it hard dude, and have fun. -Hugh
  13. really? i had the red ones ( that were meant to be blues) and they were crap really but i gave the real blue ones another go and they are one of the best pads i have used along with the rimjam's.
  14. if there the mag pedals adam's running, which i think they are, i'm pretty sure their lighter than the VP's, well i seem to remeber me looking into it when i was getting some new pedals and found the wellgo mag pedals to be a touch lighter. -Hugh
  15. yer when i did motorbiketrials i used to ride their quite a bit. From memory there's some big hills and some sandstoney typre rocks etc. -Hugh
  16. yer just a one day thing but.....there will be a back log of post remember, so everything will probs be a little slower (if thats even possible lol). I'm awaiting something from France and it's over here as i tracked it but i doubt i'll get it until monday or tuesday -Hugh
  17. ok sorry yeah, got it a bit wrong :$ anyways about 50g saving on rear wheel and 50-100g on front, does it matter anyways, it's a nice bike and fair doos Vince has done everything he can to save weight because he can! Made an awesome bike if you ask me.
  18. well considering a guy on observedtrials.net weighted his wheels before and after and he had try-all rims etc and that was the outcome i'm pretty sure it's accurate, How do you know it's "complete toss" you must have done it yourself then?
  19. hehe gd vidoe lads, didnt realise Mallory was that bigger track! Didnt realise you lot could jump tht well either, very speedy! nice one!
  20. he's just experimenting with different ways, if you just did say one thing like drilling levers then it's pointless, do ot all over the bike and it's worth it, they why he is running a front hs33 as is Gilles. Squaring the hole out on the rims apparently looses you about 100g-200g a wheel. Owww and lets be honest, i dont think he needs to grow some muscles does he EDIT: i personally think it looks great, but hey thats personal preference.
