  1. Yeah, some staff spinning from recent nights, one of these daft things i got into lord-knows how! Comments appreciated, any more spinners on the forum, I wonder? Other daft hobbies appreciated Joe x

    Drummage!

Not bad, but not a patch on this chap; http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=54...&q=mike+mangini Polyrhythms anyone? Mike Mangini, world's fastest single stroker (1247 bpm) ...and for plain silly double bass you could do worse than listen to 'Master's Apprentices' by Opeth, probably the best example of plain speed i've heard apart from WFD. P.S. My drummer is better than the first guy *basks in reflected glory* Joe
  3. It's gonna take weeks make, tendon damage does, just relax and let it heal PROPERLY. It took me six weeks to get walking properly again after I buggered my Achilles' up. Joe
  4. Haha my ex-mate said that, now he's a miserable b*****d 24/7 'cos he centred his world on her and then his girlfriend decided she preferred me! Snap out of it, boyo. Joe
  5. I'm game for this. I'll chat to the other worcester guys and see what's going on Joe x

    Police...

Police are there to protect you, the public. If you recognise this and don't be a dick I very much doubt you'll have any trouble. Don't get me wrong, it's not impossible, there are some idiots on power trips in the force, but so long as you're sensible and don't cause too much fuss you'll be fine. Also, don't get too annoyed that your name's been taken, nothing will come of it. Joe
  7. That's my worst one. Took 6 months to close properly. Never ridden with 8mm pins since Joe
  8. Interesting fact: Neon gas itself only produces the red light, the other colours are produced by different gases, but they're all referred to as neon lights. Joe
  9. It actually works quite a bit better without all the BBs back in, but it won't last as long as you said. Putting the BBs back in isn't too much of a problem just apply a thin bead of grease to the inside and stick them to it Joe
  10. 26" by a country mile. Simply a larger area to land on. Also makes gapping from rails a lot easier, isn't anywhere near so 'twitchy'. Joe
  11. I dunno how useful this is but; I used to play one of their basses (orange acrylic 4-string). Off the shelf it was pretty poxy, I had to spend some money to get things working nicely, I'm gonna agree with getting a budget Ibanez, it'll serve you so much better. Joe
  12. I went to a party of a mate's on friday night and didn't drink because I was driving, but just being in the relaxed social situation made me less inhibited, cue stupid dancing and nonsensical conversations, and joyfully I remember it all and regret nothing, no alcohol required! Having said that I like a drink occasionally, went round to Jian's last night for a few beers and a film and it was a good laugh. So I'm all for drinking in moderation, but I find nothing more pathetic than some idiot who overdid it saying "I'll never drink again..." Joe
  13. That thar be called skittles by me, due to the taste, yarr </pirate> Joe (Why in God's name did I feel the need to write in a piratical manner?)
  14. We had to take a hacksaw to my driveside muscleman to get it off, then I had to use it again 'cos the pedal thread stripped out of my new one. Hence my semi-famous weight-saving crank Joe
  15. It's easy for me, creepy crawler on a koxx rim...it's all about technique though! Joe
  16. http://www.teamryouko.com/ Pity whoever posted it up on Google didn't acknowledge them eh? These guys are gooooood, I've seen most of the vids they've ever churned out, the friday night one with the spring boots was insane... Joe
  17. Even doubles as weight training!

    Bad-ass-flu

Got a little confused, and I still am, two days is a little fast to lose a stone even by ill person standards...plus you make it sound like you've had it loads of times and here you only talk about having had it once? Things don't add up, not that it really matters. Meh, Joe Joe

    Bad-ass-flu

You've never had flu, those were colds matey. Flu makes you sick, feverish dizzy and unable to hold food, sneezing plays little part. I'm just recovering from it now, still feeling a bit sick but definitely on the mend. It's kept my head down for 5 days, got my first food since the start of this down me this morning. I've lost 5lbs
  20. EBaum's World: stealing everyone elses work and calling it his own for far too f**king long. It'd be more acceptable if he even acknowledged it, let alone actually asked permission... Joe
  21. http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/massage/massage.html Looks and sounds complicated; isn't. Use that as a guideline but basically you can follow whatever your 'victim' tells you to do 'cos they'll damn well know when you hit tension! Joe
  22. Doubled-up Gaff Tape? Joe
